The catalog will only reduce the Ingot rate by a tiny bit. You just got very lucky!
i guess i did get really lucky cause im about 16/30 now on ingots and 3/30 on traps but i'm still maxing out all my classes and just got to the point where i can kill them without TP. the only time i used death to kill those things was when i was doing mission 63 :D but i still need to finish the rest of those damn missions
i got all my traps (farming dark matters right now), but i ran out of money upgrading the first weapon and i'm still need to upgrade 5 weapons and most accessories.
Any suggestion to gain money? :/
Lots and lots of platinum ingots. Was really the best way I could find. Once you get the pattern down for killing Adamantoise in <2 minutes without using death or summons, even though it is extremely boring, makes you money extremely quickly. I just fought the one in Eden over and over again, saved at the save point, if it dropped something, I would save and reset, if not, I would just reset immediately after the fight.
thanks for the spot , farming there right now in ~2.30 each toise
:3~
Also if you upgraded Fang's weapon from the Taming Pole, at * it dismantles to about 1,150,000~ or so worth of sellables if you need that for your final push. Selling tier 2 weapons after you've just got them gives you a decent amount back too.
I'll keep farming ingots and selling all t2 weapons ( fixed a few things and i can kill 'em in <2 with gimp gear hehe )
so ive been doing a few tests while farming, using only collectors catalog and my drop rate for ingots so far is 18/40 or so, and i got all my traps by the time i capped my CP, which was awesome. now after reading others luck from before i can say that only having collectors is good for getting both if you still need them.
wow , that's a nice drop rate @ingots.
I'm getting an ingot or trap ( which i sell ) every 3-4 fights
For the turtle in Eden there's no need to save and reset to respawn it, if you run a little ways from it, then run back to it's spawn it'll be there. It's only like a 10 second run to respawn the Turtle.
yep , just checked this out
killed all soldiers ( won't repop ) and left both behemoths alive and now i just need to go to the big door and come back to our lovely toise
I usually run to where the Behemoths is, then turn right back around to where Turtle spawns near those Soldiers and it's up. I would probably go nuts saving and reloading everytime after that only turtle.
I just went and double checked since it's been awhile since I been there, but you have to run down the steps after killing the Adamantoise, should be 3-4 Behemoths and 2 Juggernauts, run just a little past the 2nd Juggernaut, then run back to where the Adamantoise is and it'll respawn.
Edit: I just find this to be a bit quicker than running back and forth from that door. You don't even have to run that far past 2nd Juggy, just like 3-4 more steps, that's it. And damn, 4/4 Plat Ingots with no Catalog equipped...
Is there anything else to do after you beat the last boss? As in extra side quests and etc.
Can I skip around on the missions? Or do I have to do them in order as in 1-2-3 and etc.
