What do the Long Gui's drop? I've got one Circle mission left to get the "Beat all cieth stone" achievements, and I'd like to get the Adamant achievement also, but I still need more cash to finish these relic weapons. Is there a better means of cash than killing the turtles or long guis?

Is there any super side-bosses in this game, something like Yiazmat or Emerald Weapon? Just beat the main story and about to start doing the missions.

Unfortunately, no =(. Here's to hoping we get one or a few in a DLC if they ever make one. I keep reading on these boards that a DLC is unlikely, but I could have SWORN that I read somewhere that square said there was plans for a DLC.

imo killing the Adamantoise in Eden is better money than anything else, once you can kill it without summoning/death. You only have to run up the stairs towards the zone to respawn it, and since you don't have to actually zone none of the other mobs in the way respawn. All in all it probably takes 3 minutes to kill it and run back.

Platinums drop pretty often, like at least 40% of the time with Collector's Catalog, imo that's better than Perfumes since you only get 8 sacrifices and 5 inquisatrix's per zoning/restart and you'd have to get 10 perfumes from them to outweight 1 platinum ingot, which rarely happens.

Granted, you can kill Shaolong Guis in roughly the same time and there's a loop you can run between 4 of them, although I don't think they drop gold nuggets any more frequently than Adamantoises drop platinums.

I wouldn't recommend farming the Long Guis for cash, the drops are the same as Adamatoise/tortoise (normal: Platinum & rare: trap, although according to the guide they drop traps at a 5% rate instead of 1%), they have significantly more HP and take at least 3-4 staggers to beat, so you're better off just killing 1 for the achievement and moving on.

tl;dr nothing really beats platinum farming for cash in eden

Ok so I just killled CH.11 last boss to unlock Death and other goodies. My question is should I go back and do Mission 55 to get the growth egg or just move on to CH.12? Or will I even be able to kill it now? I could warp back and grind some on the behemoth/wolf too I guess. Thanks!

Eh, you need to do some other stuff to get Mission 55 to be available. Could take a little while but you can kill it with Death, a Sentinel and a MED. It's insanely cheap.

I went back and did mission 55 then, but I also had all 3 main roles capped and had to stack HP items on Fang for her to last through the constant beatings. If you don't have the 3 main roles capped then I would grind first before attempting it, because its rough at the end of ch11 (and I'm talking about after the Ochu is dead - lol)

How do you get back into Eden after you beat the game? For the life of me I can't remember.. >=(

Go to Orphan's Cradle and there should be a portal leading you back to Eden, basically directly across from the portal to Gran Pulse iirc.

Waystone -> Sulyaya Springs I believe. Portal should be right where the warper takes you, then just walk across the bridge in orphan's cradle.

trying to get to hunt 16 but im blocked on both sides by those giant turtles.

im no match for those suckers atm because im getting one-shotted. what's the trick here?

Go around back, hug the right wall where the huge turtle is so you dont engage it, once your to the stairs where the turtle is in the middle, just jump on the edges and you can avoid it.

Yeah those hit for about 790-800 a hit, their rough when you activate that CS.

In the official strat guide (Piggyback), on page 105 there is a info box on the bottom of the page which states you can only pick one of the 2 available treasure spheres. I was able to pick them both and I'm just wondering why. The only thing I could think of which may have affected this is that I death-killed the adamantoise outside the building.

Would there have been a cool CS or something if I didn't kill him? I remember there being a glass floor where the spheres were, so I'm afraid I missed a CS involving it breaking or something...

Once you open either chest and begin to walk over to the other, a CS pops and it shows the turtle go through the glass floor.
