Not trolling. Apparantly he's playing again after quitting. Comments on his skill as a player and anything he's done in the past would be appreciated. I know this thread will go to shit REALLY FAST, but hopefully can get some worthwhile information out of it.

Barring the fact that he's kind of a drama whore, he wasn't a bad player. I don't really remember doing anything with him but I would remember if he did something blatantly stupid at like a camp or something, and I don't. I'd be more worried about him wanting to quit again, but not really a bad dude, just likes to argue in tell, lol.

He has more belief in himself than his abilities should allow for and would be a better player if he didn't insist on trying to dual box everything.

I don't remember him having much of the gear that he"required" others to have, though that could have changed since he left Phoenix.

As far as I know, Volume was the only shell in which anything remotely like that happened, and because he quit playing the game. If you can cite specific examples that'd be nice.

There's nothing that can be said that I'm sure you don't already know. He won't last and while he isn't a "shit player" he isn't exactly an amazing player either so really isn't worth the 1 week he'll stay with you guys just to talk shit.

Not a bad player, as long as he actually puts an effort into the shell and actually plays hes not a bad player and wouldn't be a bad addition to your LS.

Disregarding his posting habits on BG and other forums.

He really knows what he is doing when on the jobs he have. He isn't afraid of calling out anyone that isn't performing up to expected standards.

Prior to volume he joined Finale and stayed for 5 weeks. We never really understood the reason he left, he got annoyed that he couldn't lot things on his mule/alt despite it being made clear to him when he joined that members had prio over his mule. (I'm not talking about big items here, just enkidu's gear and cor af1+1). A number of members had issues with him which made for a fairly hostile environment.

I heard he joined volume to spite Finale (mainly the people that didn't like him), I heard he joined volume because Iremire kept begging him to and I heard he joined volume to do more ground/toau nm's. I have no clue which if any of those stories was actually true.

Can you elaborate on the lotting system? Do you use points or some other system? ZNM and AF+1 seems pretty pathetic to cause a fuss over. Also, the gist I got from the last BC thread about Starr was that he was going to play but just ended up qutting. Again, correct me if I'm wrong here (I assume only really Volume members would know though).

ZNM we do your pop your drop, we changed the rules to allow him to lot for his mule at the expense of getting the same item for his main. The argument just moved onto other drops though for limbus members comment the af1+1 type they want most on the forum and pick up the rest free lot. Couple of members had the af1+1 commented, told him he could get it if unwanted by our 75 cors. (Basically he was behind like 2 people max).

Basically, he wanted both Starr/Kaitos to be equal to other members for lotting, we'd already told him lotting on main and mule could pick up unwanted items.

Starr is evil and small and a skilled player with a habit of saying straight out if things sucks or doesn't suit him. Hence why he been jumping shells during the years, but if you're looking at most other people he didn't shell jump so much more then anyone else playing FFXI.

He will want to lot stuff for his mule. His RDM is gimp but knows what he is missing and take every chance to get new gear for it.
Starr is a good player, with the right people he is golden.

isn't a bad player, and volume at the time was full of shit players, it probably still is but i wouldn't really know. so needless to say with his elitist attitude he didn't fit in in volume.

How long ago did he quit? I don't even remember how long it's been. Give em a shot, if he sucks, boot, if not, cool. It's funny how pathetic people are on here with not letting shit go. Just because he leaves the linkshell after a week doesn't mean he is the problem. Look at Exodus on Ragnarok, linkshell has some decent people in it who are just dumb as fuck for following the 2 brain dead leaders that are morons who take everything for themselves for jobs they don't even play.

Get the fuck over shell hopping. Some linkshells look good to the outside and once you're in them they can be completely different. I've had my share of shells over the years and had only one good one, versus I dunno, 15 bad ones? But those people would come here and bash me, like Starr, saying the same shit like Uryuu does. Some people don't like being exposed for being shitty leaders, I just happen to play that role time and time again.

Reminds me of how someone posted bad shit on my application to a LS because he had a problem with me in 2003 and didn't speak since then. 7 years later and people are going to whine about shit like that? Fuck em, other servers or just flat out other games to play.
