Your right, I did not code it, I'm sitting back and collecting half of the money for a program I made suggestions for and logged packets for. The author coded it years ago, and has not had to recompile it except for the addition of new JA's / MA's. It's a self maintaining product, don't you wish you had something like that?

All you did when I talked to you was cry about maintaining your bot, how you approached the matter wrong. Don't you wish you did it like some others and charged monthly instead of a one time fee? Motivation will soon be gone since you have to put so much time and energy into maintaining your product. While your making yourself look so bad, you might as well switch to a monthly subscription system, then thank me for padding your pockets some more.

If you looked hard enough, projectXI could show you how to inject like you dream about doing.

why don't you write a ferry script like half your community wants? oh yea your navigation doesn't work on half your users computers. To make mine work i had to use other programs to navigate then use yours for the simplest actions, boy am i glad i didn't pay a penny for that.

True but then again they are also preventing others, to some degree, who don't bot from showing up and trying to compete. I am sure they also camp those other various NMs when they need to.

If you want to camp and kill HNMs consistently you bot. If you don't you save your gil and buy it from the people that do. Either way is fine.

I was recently talking about how SE has really dropped the ball on this subject. There's one very simple tool that SE probably hasn't and never will develop for some strange reason.

All they need to do is to isolate transmissions from a suspected character so that any actions performed by the character will not be send directly to the server (in other words nobody will see what they are doing).

Once the character has been "silenced", they then spawn the NM into memory in an invisible/untargetable state (ie Shikigami) as a localized mob. The bot if scanning memory for the presence of a specific mob will fire up upon successful detection.

From that point onwards they just need to see what the character does, be it LS spam that something has popped, or attempted claim. Since it was a localized instance of the mob, only that character would have detected it, and since the character has been "silenced" nobody in the shell will know that anything has popped, and SE will have the evidence to take the character out of the game without question.

SE is to focused on searching logs for evidence when they should be actively trying to force bots to show themselves. They make the game, they are the ones that send us the data, they can control what gets accepted and broadcast, filter and analyze, simple as that.

If a thief is caught after the fact, it comes down to evidence to convict. If they thief is caught in the act, their as good as gone. Simple enough.

Personally never botted, know most of what needs to be known to make one, but I'm far too paranoid to run anything I don't write (and no I haven't written one). Just my 2 cents.
