More people not botting will rarely beat out less people botting. The only reasons NASA became superior is due to the planned obselesence of FFXIapp, ease of use and the fact that the code was pretty solid.

What amazes me is not botting. Who cares about that, it's rather who PAYS for it to claim a monster in MMO haha. Free bots or self-made ones I approve but spending a chunk of money on them is hilarious. Paying money outside of the fee SE charge to apply on a game is so retarded I don't even.

I could make a packet bot easily in less than 2 hrs lol. It was the whole concept of linking together to auto set times and shit that makes the concept more powerful.

I'm going let you guys in on a lil secret:
A single user using a packet bot doesn't mean shit. a packet bot isn't shit compared to a non packet bot. if you are lag free, a bot that auto casts on a specified target is pretty much just as good.

NASA's real advantage was the networking system that auto linked everyone together for wide range of delays. I dunno what all Maury's stuff did, never used it, but a the entire concept of 'claiming by packet' is not any real huge advantage.

When I did HNM we had packet bots, and if that surprises you, then your pretty damn dumb But we didn't have all the fancy networking shit. Guess what? We didn't claim that much.

All a packet bot does is claim in a fancier manner that's less susceptible to lag. It doesn't do shit for you unless you have a ton of users working together with it.

in other words, don't buy anyone's stupid bot, as there's an even better way to claim:
Spend your money buying a better PC, kill the retarded darters and spam enter.

Having 30 fps at hnm makes a world of difference in claiming.

When I got my new PC i was dual boxing in an extremely full aery with 30 fps (both accounts in aery) and claimed faf easily w/o a bot.

I agree with everything said up until the end, no matter how many lag free people you have spamming enter its not going to compare to 20+ people all going at different intervals, all you have is a bunch of lag free people essentially spamming at roughly the same time. And saying that you claimed faf easily without a bot is a bit dumb, everyone knows claims are complete luck and completely random, and the only way to increase your chance is by mathematically covering the widest range of times.

Time = money

In 1 hour you make at work, you buy said bot. You now have a copy that is constantly updated for you, at one source. The time you spend after patches hunting memlocs, fixing up the bot, modifying it, all cost time. Time that you could have saved by dropping the 1 hour of work money.

Remember not everyone is knowledgeable when it comes to coding. Someone here pays 10$ to buy a stupid bot, to save them the time it takes to make their own, and possibly because they dont even know how to make one. This can be used on anything, because time=money analogy applies to everything. Your pipes leak, do it yourself or plumber? Car breaks, do it yourself or garage? Moneyshot...you break a bone, do you do it yourself, or go to a doctor?
