While that is true it's still amusing. For those that buys bots to make gil to sell I get it, small investment for nice profit, but for those who buys only to claim and gear their LS what the hell?

I still want to see an estimate of the "nice profit" these guys are making. My best guess is that they could be making just as much money flipping burgers or performing some other menial job that they could actually point to as work experience when they decide to start working towards an actual career, and that's assuming that only a few shell leaders actually share in the profits.

my comment was more towards vs claiming w/o a bot vs claiming with a bot outside of a large scale group of bot users.

ie, even if you do bot (and one the only few in your LS to do it), a better computer would help you more.

But even in large scale botting of entire LS, still need better computers.

The bots cant react until they receive notification the nm has popped, and when your lagging, that 'notification' is lagged.

How you not getting 30fps with that ? I have an i7 920 with 16GB ram and ATI 5870 and run 2 account and both get at 30fps in DA.

I wish I could tell you. I've tried everything, posted on windower and bg tech threads about it and nobody knows. PC runs games like Aion at full settings 1920x1200 with 0 lagging issues. Whitegate/Aery/Etc all get fps in the teens. It's pretty neat.
