First off, congratulations on pulling off a miracle, coming from someone else in a similar situation.

I was hacked around 6 months after you and my story's been brought up a few times by other people in the thread. To top things off, my character was deleted and by the time it was restored, the precious seven day window had passed and I was out of luck. I tried the same things as you; having the title when calling the GM, being in VoS saying that I can still see the cutscene of me getting the gjallarhorn, but to no avail.

As narse said, I went all the way up the chain of command for both the black belt and the gjallarhorn, but was denied for both a direct restoral and quest reset. I had even done as you had and reobtained the black belt items, but threw them out after the rejection of my appeal.

So I take your success as my last light of hope. I know this is going to sound like I'm riding your coattails a bit, but if the people of BG could try to help me as they helped Chaz reobtain his black belt, words would not be able to truly convey my appreciation. (and hey, if you could drop a few words about the dropped gjallarhorn while you're at it, maybe lightning could strike three times).
