Mission 64 - The Doomherald

Start as sab/med/sab and spam poison until it lands. get deshell/deprotect/imperil also on it
SYN/MED/SYN get haste/faith/bravery/protect/shell on
RAV/RAV/RAV it and try to Stagger it. If you stagger it, COM/COM/COM. If you really need to heal, toss some cures, but I didn't need to heal myself during this time.

Once it goes into it's invincible mode, heal up to full and rebuff if you need to, then switch back to SABs and get ready to spam poison again once it comes out. Then RAVx3 till staggered and COMx3 till it goes back to invincible.
Repeat.

After some damage is done, prepare SEN/SEN/SEN for its big attack that I dont remember the name of.

Repeat the same steps as above except be prepared to switch to SENx3 and you might need to heal more.

also equip Gold Watch.

Good thoughts and basically what I was trying to do the first time around... towards the end though, he's hurting me so bad I have to go MED MED MED while he's non invincible. Any items I should have on? other than the watch

Well, when I beat it the 1st time, I had gotten 4 stars. I don't remember what I had equipped. I didn't bother trying it again till I was pretty much capped on everything.
I had complete crystarium(w/e that thing is called) and maxed ultimate weapons for my three people.
I know I had Fang equipped with 3x Kaiser Knuckles and Genji Gloves, and Lightning had 1 Kaiser and instant Chain set-up(it didnt proc btw). Can't remember what I had equipped to Vanille, gold watch at least.

Oh, Renew is good for a quick full heal, and it's a technique, so you can be any job when you use it. Costs 2 TP so you can use it twice.

I think I'll put on some damage reduction equip, and the gold watch, and see what happens. Poison did all the work for me, I really didn't do shit.

Crushed it the second time around, went with basic 3x job setups except for SAB, went SAB SAB SEN (Vanille/Fang as SABs, Snow as SEN) to start off the fight. Poison dominated, but I also staggered him for extended periods three times, and Fang dominated with her Level 94 Kain's Lance.

Only got Mission 61 to 5-star, and a Long Gui to beat, and some weapons.

It can't proc on him because his level is >50, it's better to have her equipped with other gear, possibly her +% ATB gauge. Seems like would be the ideal setup to have her doing more actions.

I can't even get this mark to spawn; I've beaten the game and defeated all of the first 63 marks but when I go to the giant crystal in the ruins, nothing happens. Did I miss something? I even talked to the stupid little projector robot about thirty times and fought all of the Undying again, except for Attacus. Fuck that.
