Posting from my phone so not going to go over every detail but I'll address the things I found important:

1) I am working to build the linkshell. I am giving people a try and am always willing to overlook peoples past if they are willing to work as part of a team. SE gave the /breaklinkshell option for a reason.

2) At this point I am not "forcing" people to drop linkshells, but I have told everyone joining that they will need to choose in the not too distant future. Our lotting system is focused on everyone working together. I understand that some people have been in some groups for years so they have some time to make sure we are what they want.

tl;dr - we are willing to offer a fresh start to people. We do expect to be peoples linkshell for all events.

I am finally in front of my PC and can type a bit more. The reasons behind all event in linkshell are several fold, but here are the 2 main points:

1) If you do an event (ex. dynamis) with another LS, you are missing LS events on the 2 days your in dynamis and you are not participating with the LS on the 2 days they are in dynamis. That means you are missing 4 out of 7 possible days automatically. Even assuming you attend every other day you are never going to attend 50% of the event days. Thats a substantial amount of days to know you will miss events, in addition to the reality you will miss other events just due to real life.

2) You are missing time to be working as a team with your linkshell. Team work is learned through practicing together, and every event helps people continue to learn to work as a group.


On a side note, we are still recruiting, but we are looking for Red Mages & White Mages. We are still considering all applications, but we are most specifically looking for people with healer jobs.

Relics Linkshell is a linkshell on the Leviathan Server. Created by a small group originally from Remora we are an experienced group looking to expand our membership to participate in other events.

Currently, our membership is comprised of experienced players with multiple jobs at 75 as well as all above average gear. Relics is dedicated to furthering our members pursuit of gear, as well as using a system that allows our members to earn gil if that is the preference.

Our events are all EST (generally starting between 7-8pm) and include:
Dynamis
Einherjar
ZNM
VNM
SCNM
Limbus
Salvage
KSNM99

We understand that most people have a real life and that takes great priority. We ask you participate when you are on and all events when you are on are mandatory attendance. We use a DKP system that has proven to be very fair and balanced. Basically, you get what you put in.

We are currently recruiting:
-Players with end-game experience
-Several jobs at 75
-Access to all areas (Dynamis-Xarc & full Sea mandatory, Dynamis-Tav preferred)
-Willingness to work as a team
-Players expected to have above average gear (proper AH items for your job a minimum)
