It would be more believable if it was an EU guild they were supposedly merging with. Somehow I can't see the whole guild rerolling on US servers though. :D

Arcane rewards smart play? Its not even hard to keep your mana up like it used to be. The rotations are simple and the "play" is easy. Fire on the other hand is much more difficult, timing Pyros around PTL while not wasting HS procs is an example. Fireball is no longer a spec that relies on RNG like it used to be so now your just trying to spout false information about the spec.

I'd actually say that Frost can be a bit more complex than Fire in terms of rotations and managing procs. If you spec for FFB on both 2nd hit of FoF and FB! procs, then manage in ice lances or flame strikes while in movement w/ watching Ice barrier, Icy Veins, Cold Snap, that instant-freeze move that's name escapes me atm. Ohh yeah, and lolpet.

Of course, Frost is DEFINITELY behind both Arcane and Fire in damage, even with the frostbolt damage differential increase. But, it was fun as hell to play a frost mage at 80, before I got better gear. I'm tempted to go back and try doing frost raiding just to see how my DPS is... Of course lower, but how much lower...

Honestly, if there aren't world 2nds and 3rds out yet with an extra 5% buff I have a hard time believing it. I don't pay much attention to the world first scene and all, but yeah...I don't believe the difference between 1st and 2nd is more than 5%.

Pugs do 10/25man Lk on my server and theirs only like 4 guilds progressed decently far O_o

Course the top guilds run pugs... and just replace people till they down it. Some alts are pretty dam well geared...

Apparently my server is pretty shitty, its rare to see a pug that can progress past the first wing, and if they do its at most festergut downed. Only time I see groups that get through ICC decently well is when half of the run is guildies. Hell, I just wiped on Deathwhisper like 6 times yesterday in a pug on my shaman because we couldn't find another healer that knew what they were doing. Doing 60% of the overall healing with 3 healers on my shaman that hadn't been 80 for more than two days.

I forgot to switch back to Arcane after some PVPing and went and did ToC25. I was stuck as frost for the first 3 bosses. I pulled 5-6k DPS with shitty gear. Not using ffb. I was using frostbolt. I was pretty shocked, to be honest. Two Icy Veins in a row + trinkets = pretty smexy.
