dish network 2 room dvr

Ok so i had cable installed in my place when i moved in. A year latter i got rid of it in favor of dish network. At the time i only wanted it in the living area and bed room. Now im wanting to switch it from the bed room it is in currently to the other bed room. Is it possible without having a tech come out to the house to do it? the reason i ask is because all they did was use the existing cabe wires that were installed to hook it up to the bed room it is currently in.

If they left everything how it was i don't see why not. Just plug it in and try. If not walk around your house from the new room and see if the cable is connected never need a tech for anything you can pretty much do all your cable needs yourself.
