Im going to see this tomorrow morning, the AMC here is 7.50 for 3D before 4 pm.
Levee or bust. Got damn I miss that place.
There's no "cheap" theatres in Ft Myers and the matinees are like 2.50 off so it's about 7$.
Fuck that noise.
Well its not even a cheap theater, this is the best theater in NC, its inside Concord Mills Mall, which Im sure people have heard of, its one of the biggest in the US.
Well we don't have AMC down here, which is usually more inexpensive.
All we have is Regal and they jack the fuck out of their prices.
Yeah we have a regal here, that is 3 to four miles from my house and its fucking terrible, the place smells like hot socks and the screens suck.
It's 10 bucks till noon there and 12.50 after. I would rather drive the 20 minutes to concord and see the movie better and not have to smell hot feet. Also can catch some TGI Fridays while Im there.
Fun movie. I enjoyed it very much.
Also, I remember from my Ancient Lit class, my old prof mentioned that dragons are a representation of our egos and if you look it at this movie from that perspective, it does make kind of a sense. Also explains the ending a little bit too.
Anyway you look at it, I will recommend this movie to my friends.
Saw this last night in 3D - wasn't so sure that the film made all that much use of the 3D, but it was a complete fun ride.
I actullay had a better night out watching this than Clash. It was fun, well paced and a very touching story, and Toothless facial expression even had me going "awww".
Now the wife wants a cuddly toothless toy.
I'd really reccommend everyone to go see it.
Watched this yesterday and LOVED it, Toothless is cute as hell in parts and now I want a pet dragon. Gonna watch Clash of the Titans next week, regardless of negative reviews it still looks good and plenty of films with bad reviews that I enjoyed (Transformers 2, Ice Age 3 etc)
Went to look this up on IMDB and saw this:

I've never seen a popularity increase that high before lol.
I know right? When I was little, I didn't want a pony, I wanted a DRAGON. Comes from too much Anne McCaffrey.
And I feel like it's pretty much a given that they'll make a sequel, the only question is how bad it will be! I mean, potentially it could not be bad. But statistically speaking, it has a very low chance of it.
Great flick...saw it last night and really enjoyed it.
Spoiler: show
Saw this last night, absolutely awesome, this is the first dreamworks animation to compare to a pixar for me.
(I hate Shrek)
maybe he just meant the third one
There was a third one?
yeah but all I remember is that it was ass. I still quote lines from 1 and 2, but only barely even remember 3.
