I wasn't referring to that just generally because the OP is making the point that liberals make better comedy than conservatives. He's made a career out of being funny. He gets paid to be funny. He doesn't get paid to be "a liberal".

Hillary nutcracker video: inadvertently funny because of the juxtaposition of a serious law enforcement official responding to a bomb threat and then describing the nutcracker. I highly doubt it was planned that way, and if so, then the person who did it is an asshole for wasting people's time / causing bomb scares.

"Magic negro" is originally a literary term referring to an archtype. The LA times guy used it to refer to Obama and the fact he is half white and not ethnically similar to most black people in the U.S., etc, to point out that his success/popularity did not really indicate that America has overcome racism. Up to this point, nobody was attempting humor by using the term. THEN Paul Shanklin wrote the song.

Shanklin has released a total of 12 albums of political parody songs and skits. Shanklin has performed over 1400 parody songs and skits incorporating over 80 voice impressions.

Re: O'Rourke and Buckley. O'Rourke is a liberal turned libertarian. Buckley endorsed Obama. These are hardly prime examples of conservatives.
