Hey all,

We've got a pretty exciting update coming in for Tryndamere in the next patch. There's some fun content surprises related to it, but I wanted to talk about the mechanics side of this update;

Rage

Ever since Renekton, we've been thinking about the potential of a rage-related system to Tryndamere's Bloodlust. We've utilized the resource system to manage Bloodlust stacks;

* The bar maxes out at 100 Rage

* Each normal hit Tryndamere does to any minion or champion grants 5 Rage

* Crits grant 10 rage

* Killing blows on anything grant double the rage (10 for hits, 20 for crits).

* Bloodlust's bonus is now based on the rage you have (for both the bonus stats and the heal).

Why change this, you may be asking? A few reasons drove this:

* Tryndamere is great in mid and low elo, but really falls off in more competitive play. This is largely due to an early game that's really binary, and how hard it is to do anything if you can't dominate your lane. The rage system evens this out a little bit.

* Bloodlust is hard to understand as the opponent, and watching the buff bar is not as optimal for the user experience. By moving the same mechanics into the resource bar, it's easier to see and communicate, plus generally "cooler"

* It makes sense! Tryndamere is a barbarian that uses rage-themed skills. A Fury meter would be what we would had done if the tech were in the same state when we launched.

Sounds good. Going to make all the beginners cry tears though to see this guy getting "buffed".

So I've been playing Xin and in my last 2 games people were making fun of me because i was going aspd boots, when ALL of the guides use those. Are they in the wrong or is there something im not seeing?

They're a good choice, but if you opponents have 3+ CC then Merc. Treads are a must (especially since you build Xin a lil' tanky)

I hope they do something to balance trynd and make him more even at all skill levels. I did amazing with him for months, then started playing higher skilled opponents who just shut him down instantly. I'm not sure if just a rage bar can fix that.

"Any" game mode. Awesome lol the default skin made me want to die inside. Was using that kick ass arch angel custom skin this whole time.

So I figure its about time I unlocked a support champ so I never get shitty team comps in ranked play. Was thinking Soraka or Taric. I personally love when either is on my team but I feel Taric promotes aggressive play where I feel a slightly more defensive team always has the advantage. Anywho any advice on who to unlock? (Soraka is also much cheaper :D)

Sona imo
I've played all the supports quite a bit lately, and I feel Sona has the ability to add the most to a team, in lane, and in team fights.

I've hit a fuckin' slump in this game lately and it's really aggravating to play.. gah I hate this game sometimes

If anybody wants to add me, name is Jizzus. currently lv6 and using either Annie (when I'm laning with someone I know) or Xin (when I'm going all random queue). Only problem when I use Annie is that people don't respond to my stun initiation and let the enemy get away when we could easily get the kill
