I'm down for a 5 man ranked team. I also have a few people who may be interested if we can't pull up 5 from time to time. Nama played with a few of them with me last night. Had a hell of a game too.

If your doing ranked to try and boost your ELO for the rewards handed out soon I would suggest duoing Solo Queue I always found it much easier to win Solo Queues with a buddy then to win full 5v5.

They didnt give a time for when it will officially end I think just that its in the near future. Since they posted they were extending season1 elo rankings I'd guess a month or so.

Maybe I didn't mean dibs on Leona D: but if the team needs a tank and she hasn't been banned or chosen I'd be more then happy to play her :D can also Ranged carry or Kayle if need be

Tried our first ranked games tonight. Went 2-1. The first two games. Wow. We had two people in both games who just fed like mad. Into the double digit deaths in under 15-20 minutes. Zethes and I had less deaths combined than the next lowest death total. It was truly unreal.

We finally won our third match even with a feeding Annie and Renekton because our Nasus was really good and I was able to support him well. We were losing in kills but we got a late game ace and pushed down their middle inhibitor and then they fell apart.

Disappointed we lost our first two games. I would have been happy with even mediocre players because these people were atrociously bad.

The ranked teams we've been getting are so consistently garbage, from bans (banning Garen and Twitch?) to picks to feeding to leavers, that I'm shocked after coming off decent normal games where the teams are evenly matched and good fights. And it's hard for for us to make up the difference on support and tank sadly.

Ranked always attracts that special kind of retard lol. Doesn't help when you start with like no ELO so late into the season your basically playing with people who most likely play like they still lv4.

If you want to carry random scrubs, you need to be the carry. Really no way around it. When my friend and I duo in normals one of us will pick trynd if the rest of the team picks poorly because no matter what if the game goes on long enough he's going to be able to chop down towers and maybe sneak out a win, but you can pick whichever carry you want and get the same results.

Of course, if the team comp is really bad (like, 3x assassin insta-lock) we usually go Garen+Jarvan for the lulz. It's a surprisingly good combo despite being double melee because of the disruption and Jarvan's slow.

At the end of our ten placement games we came out 1108 (me) and 1088 (my husband). Our record ended up being 4-6. They must rank according to actions in game as well. All of those games my husband and I were the last two picks, so he got pushed into tanking almost every game. He played Cho'Gath as the only unbanned tank and he didn't have much experience on that, so I figure that's how I got 20 Elo higher.

Five of those six had leavers for us (two of our wins had leavers on the other team! - 7/10 games with leavers!!), one of those games we were doing quite well until our mid left and our jungle had to take mid. Every one of the six (except the one with the jungler taking over mid) had huge feeders with people giving up 10-12 deaths in 20-25 minutes.

Now to dig ourselves out!
