It's like I want to strangle her while also fondling her simultaneously...
Morde dub was better. THEY NEED TO ADD THAT TO THE GAME. AND MAKE IT SO EVERYONE CAN HEAR "DEATH IS TOO GOOD FOR THE LIKES OF YOU" in that cute girly voice.
Hm, tried out jungle, AP, and tanky dps skarner. Overall, tanky DPS seemed to work best. AP was decent, while jungle was only "ok". Here's my recommendation for tanky dps Skarner (perhaps in a solo lane):
21 Offense/9 Utility
9 armor pen reds, 9 flar armor yellows, 9 m. resist/level blues, 3 armor pen quints
Start with E first to last hit and harass with ease, however max your Q first. LV1-4 = EQQW, Skill max order = R > Q > W > E
Regrowth pendant + potion (start) > Philospher's stone + Heart of Gold + basic boots (first trip back) > Sheen + Merc. Treads > Trinity Force > Sunfire cape (core complete) > Banshee's Veil + Hextech Gunblade
Pretty standard tanky dps build, however Gunblade contributes to his hybrid nature. He seems to shine mid-game and during team fights. His initiation is so-so, try using your ult on a carry and AoE slow spam. It definitely cripples and your opponents will have trouble kiting.
I lost my shit when he did the Twitch voice lol
Im not gonna read 60 pages (on superior settings ofc) But play HoN regulary and i'm OK (stay in between 1600-1700 PSR mostly if you know whaa that means :S)
Heard this is similar. Should I try it? what are main differences?
If you like HoN already, you may as well play it until DoTA 2 comes out.
That it's better?
In all seriousness I've tried getting my old DotA mates into League and most of them actually wound up hating it. The biggest pain in the ass you're going to have to go through is re-learning all the new heroes and all the new items.
Biggest differences would be this has more of an emphasis on RPG elements. Leveling up, masteries. There's a bigger emphasis on customization which I tend to love about the game. Certain heroes are so flexible that they can be built 10 different ways. I personally liked the removal of last hitting, I felt it doesn't dumb down the gameplay at all, and it helps melee maintain their viability compared to DotA where little to zero melees are usually picked competitively.
LoL picked up a lot of the mistakes DotA had due to limited engine/one designer working by himself. It's just a generally better game unless you are looking for a more competitive experience . DotA outclasses LoL in that aspect, you can spend years playing DotA and still manage to be sub-par, compared to LoL where within a year you can basically reach the top since the bar isn't really that high to begin with.
New panth is fucking awesome panth
Finally tried Nocturne jungling after only using Warwick and Jarvan before. Holy crap, he's so good. I've been stomping non-stop.
panth is OP!
also, something like a 11 loss streak, sup.
[edit[ edited for joke-inducing "!"
Can you explain why Panth is OP? He is the most balanced he has been since he first came out.
was a joke lol
Just won a game as Garen with Mundo, Heimer, Amumu, and Wukong vs Annie, Xin, Leona, Nid, and Poppy. Never laughed so hard playing this game. We were just dicking around and pretty much rolled them all game, even with Mundo vs Annie in mid.
Mundo's cleaver can fk you up lol.
Wish I knew, I keep seeing him banned in high elo ranked lately but matches I do see him in he's not that fantastic (they could've just been bad panth players tho)
Been mostly jungling due to no one choosing jungler and I feel he is better roaming around as a jungler to be more useful than just farming top for who knows how long. He can keep jungling without a real need to recall and gank when the oppritunity calls for it (or taking over a lane a while if someone needs to recall). Get fed faster this way as well.
Doing the whole Wraiths --> Wolves --> Small Golems (recall) then do the whole thing over with buffs included (Stonewall's way, which starts with a sapphire crystal).
Wriggles --> Sheen/Boots --> Trinity/Merc --> Rylai --> Atma's (lots of HP to use on) --> FoN
This has worked fantastic thus far, taking hits like a champ and slowing down people until they fall to others or myself. Had considered Frozen Hammer over Rylai but seeing as I spam Q like theres no tomorrow didn't see a real need yet.
Red: Alacity (Attack Speed)
Yellow: Flat Armor
Blue: Flat Magic Resist
Quint: Flat HP
Masteries I play around such as going 0/21/9 and recently 16/0/14 (Stonewall's way)
Smite and Ghost (for ganking + w and his ult)
Best matches out of 5 were: 12/5/11 (lost because our guy went afk) and 5/2/20 (win)
He seems pretty balanced overall, the type of guy who won't let you get away. Needs better mana managing however, pretty dependent on Blue for a guy who was made to spam his abilities because of his passive.
Played against a Pantheon last night that went 16/3/6 or something similar. He absolutely destroyed my two teammates bottom--they weren't bad, he was just better. And then, once team fights (full or otherwise) started, he played exactly like he should: show up late by jumping on us and then proceed to destroy the closest person. We rarely saw Pantheon until he was man dropping onto us. If we did, he wasn't alone. Sure, with better positioning we probably could have turned it around. But his early game damage boost was enough to get him ahead of us (several lucky escapes included) and thus we ended up losing.
Basically, I think he's a little into the OP region. The shortening of his jump charge up was a good thing, and honestly should've been done even when it was global. (I'm still against the non-global change of it--they should've tried something else first, maybe distance traveled equates to charge up time.) His damage has very little to do with his ultimate, honestly. All the ultimate is is an ability to allow teleportation anywhere. Doesn't matter if it was 10 feet or 1000 feet of a teleport--what is OP is how much damage he does when he arrives with his other abilities. Changing the ultimate should not have given the chance to suddenly increase his damage by an absurd amount. He was too weak before, and now he's too strong.
