Before this buff, Pantheon, if somehow fed, you could not stop.
Now, with this buff and stronger early game (wtf at that Spear Shot huge base change!), if fed, is even more unstoppable.

It is a sad day when I don't see TF picked in high elo or even banned while Pantheon remains to be banned with the likes of Fiddlesticks and Gangplank.

TF needs his ultimate though, his lane presence is absolute garbage, Panth can hold his own just fine. I still both are pretty trashy picks but Panth got a well needed buff IMO.

I think it's funnier when they buy Oracles and then go out alone somewhere. "Those get expensive." Seriously had a Veigar that gimped himself and bought something like 5 by the end of the game. He only had a Void Staff.

Shaco is sooo fun, just wish he mattered late game. My only options seem to be split push or JitB stack and wait... haha, oh well, at least his ganks at lv3 are pretty good. Any tips for him? Jungling btw

Stop playing Shaco? Jokes aside, my best advice is get early game kills. Do not dilly-daddle with blue or anything of the sort. Find a vulnerability to exploit and get in there with early red and harass/kill the shit out of them. Shaco is all about the first 10-15 minutes of the game. FB or 3 kills? Golden. 0-0-0? You're probably fucked.

Also he's insanely easy to counter if you're playing against high level players. Remember that your poof can be spotted in the fog, I always hear Shaco's whine about that shit.

If you want to try to stray away from the norm(Playing shaco already fits this bill) AP shaco can be really scary. Go full glass cannon AP with a DFG. You can nuke people down with Shiv and DGF active. Your clone does a scary amount of damage if blown up on 1-2 champs. And most importantly a shaco with 500+ AP jitb does nearly as much DoT as an AD shaco, Basically forcing them to take the 2 melee hits to kill it or get raped by jitb. Things like forcing Baron can be absolutely hilarious with an AP shaco stacking boxes.

I started a month ago and I'm at about 22/23 too.. Just started on Akali over the weekend.. I'm pretty inconsistent with her so far.. Depends on my team's setup (or their's)I guess.. I had a 21/6/8 game, a 6/13/10 game, a 13/5/15 game (Taric was ks'ing but I don't care about that really cuz Akali does enough ks herself), then a 0/12/7 game (where they called me all the names in the book, as per usual with this LoL community I've seen), then a 14/2/3 game where they surrendered at 25 mins (all numbers are rough estimates, but the idea is there).. I do like her play style, except for early laning where I'm having a slight problem with gold because how long the cooldown is on her only ranged attack.. Most aggressive players can keep me at bay enough to severely hinder my gold farming.. I've seen strats for jungling with her, but I don't think that will solve my gold issues..

I've never been in an LoL match where someone didn't call someone out in a completely rude or disrespectful manner, whether on my team or even worse, the other team through /all.. It's like everyone wants an excuse for why they are losing even though there's no way anyone playing with them is going to remember their name after the game is over.. I understand it's the internet, and 90% of people are like that.. And I played competitive CS for years, so I know it's the norm in small team style games.. But I'd love to play 1 game where it wasn't like that.. Just so I knew it existed..

Duo lanes can be tough on Akali. Single lane she will get pushed back for a bit but can still dominate the hell out of her opponent if played right. If you're going to against someone with mostly skill shots(Brand, Anivia, Mord) You can easily defeat them with no issue. When it comes to people like Annie she will have trouble solo lane. Skills for me on Akali go Q > W > Q > E > Q > R. Use your Q on mid life creeps and get a hit in to get the kills. Or, if you're solo lane against someone I would Q > W > hit > hide > Q > hit. If you use flash/ignite you can burst down anyone solo in a matter of about 6 seconds.

Thanks for the advice.. I've been trying to use my W more to help me get in position to kill more creeps.. Most people don't like not knowing where i'm at in that smoke and back away far enough for me to get some hits in.. Laned with a Blitz last night and his taunt kept their 2 at bay enough, plus when they did get close, he'd pull them in and we could burst them down very quickly..

At 3 or 4 you can try this:

Q them, W right on top of them, flash, hit, Q, hit, ignite, E. Best if you can get in without flash though. Save that for when they run if you can. Also, once you hit 6 be careful after you shadow dance because that doesn't proc the Q and I've wasted extra Q's on people without using the one I had on them ;(

Akali is an amazing character, pretty easy mechanics wise to use (faceroll every ability every cooldown) but the real challenge is living the engagements. You probably don't have runes for her, which is a big problem as Akali seeing as she is the only character that NEEDS custom rune pages. If you can get both her passives at level 1 and start with boots 3 pots you can have some serious lane presence in either solo lane, I used to use Dorans Blade to get the AD passive but boots are really nice for chasing after you land Q and you need the potions. You mentioned getting some real mixed results, that's kind of how Akali works. You need to be fighting squishies and not a team with 3 hard stuns or something like that. Not to mention AoE teams make it very hard for Akali to function, her stealth is worthless when the enemy team can just AoE over it. Don't get me started on how hard Lee Sin straight counters Akali.

damn lol. I played ARAM last night. Yi went AP, had a sona, MF, another squishie, and myself as Soraka. They got crushed just from the immense heals.

Yi would get heal bombed and just keep doing Alphas all over their faces

Hehe, Aram can be so goofily fun, or just a stomp either way :<. Lost a game with a soraka and a Nid, won a game against a blitz/poppy/jax/otehrdudes with just a soraka healer (me). Also got Warwick in one, went magewick, was hilarious. Slow, slow start especially since I had to grab a mana manip for the team, but got rolling after some levels and items. AP YI in Aram makes me rraaaaaageeee, ahaha.

Also, dose Nidalee changes. Yay for her heal being whacked (Made me rarrrr at that burst even though I love Nids), Pounc afefcting CDR is worrysome (What was once kinda in a blue moon atchable NEVER IS ANYMORE HAHAHAH), yay on the cougar passive change.

I am very very curious to see how everything will be affected, laning against a Soraka who can just top up everything is such a pain (same for any healer really), but seeing them gently nudge supports to maybe be allowed to get some farm is cool.

...Or I could be dead dead wrong.

Reduced heal and removed dodge? I like how they think 20 MR/Armor is the equivalent of 10% dodge. -_-
