Runes and build order for Leona? Tried full tank, Ap/tank mix, CDR. All 3 give me mixed results.

If you're hell-bent on maining tank characters then go Armor/MR Reds, otherwise go MPen/Dodge Seals/Magic Resist Blues/Hp5 Quints (Flat)

Masteries I think 9/21/0 or 0/21/9 are optimal. If you play more aggressively like a duo lane then go 9 down offense, solo top go Utility.

In terms of Skilling, I always max the shield since it's her best skill IMO, after that get the long range stun and then your shield bash.

I like Dominion as much as the next guy, but I think Riot has backed themselves into a corner by coming out with it. There is no way they will be able to balance both Dominion and SR unless they have champions perform differently depending on what mode they play (not likely) or they can only have one of the two modes be competitive. The problem is no matter which they choose it's going to alienate one group or the other for ranked. Personally I would go with dominion as then you aren't directly competing with DOTA2, but I can see that pissing a lot of people off.

Meh, they have like 60 champions and a new one coming out every two weeks or something silly.

Just have some champions good in SR and suck in dominion(ala something like nasus, and idk who else is good in SR but bad in dominion). Or have champions who are really good in dominion(heimer comes to mind) but bad in SR.

First few times playing my singed on domination and it's really, really cool.

Going bot lane with revive/ghost is fucking awesome. When you die you come fucking RAGING on back at like 800 move speed.

But anyway, I'm at a loss at what to build... in SR you're always building for your final 6 - I think the best here is to start with boots and prospector's ring.. thereafter I grab will of the ancients but hell if I know what to get. Usually it's catalyst but I'm not going to get a rod of ages in dominion. Don't quite think ryalia's would be pretty good either since most of that cost is for the slow - which I don't really find myself wanting.

I just don't have any cool ideas and nothing jumps out at me besides getting the dominion replacement for banshees sometime. That item is really sexy.

Anivia, the Cryophoenix, (normally 6300 IP) will be only 3150 IP!
Blitzcrank, the Great Steam Golem, (normally 6300 IP) will be only 3150 IP!
Corki, the Daring Bombardier (normally 6300 IP) will be only 3150 IP!

Leona scales horribly with AP, I don't think any of her ratios are over like .3 or .4, so you want a little, but don't build her around it.

Since she's always in the middle of the fray screwing with people, I usually build her with Treads / Frozen Heart / Shurelia / Abyssal / Sunfire Cape / ???. Not in that order, but that's generally what I aim for. Aura items give her presence and max CDR for spamming shield.

For skills I max W first, it's her best skill and it's almost always up when you get CDR. People forget that one of the biggest benefits about Leona is her passive. You want to max W, it does great damage and puts her passive on everyone, for even more damage in a team fight. Max Q next for the 4 second CD for the lulz. Her R is nice but you want to get in, and once you're in, you're in.

I use Magic Pen Reds / Dodge Yellows / Magic Resist Blues.

I just finished a game with Leona and I generally follow this. I don't have a full rune page, so I'm sure it will only get better with time.

The only difference though, is now that the Tenacity is up to 35, I usually go into the Heart instead of merc treads, depending on my team obviously.
I start regrowth and HP pot like everyone else, then go:
boots->philosoper->ninja tabi->defensive item->heart->sunfire->whatever. If ninja tabi doesn't help against their team, I go merc treads and shurelia instead. As far as skills go, I always max the q first unlike everyone else in the thread lol. I usually get 1 point of e at level 3 and leave it there while i max q then w.

Always go HoG + Philo on Leona. You can turn them into Shurelias/Randuins later on which are amazing late game items.

Unique means just from that specific item, not the specific buff. Will of ancients + gunblade + hextech will stack afaik. HoG/philo I know for a fact stack.

Cap the two points near your base, team fight at top and cap that, then defend. If you lose the team fight at top, push from mid and team fight again.
