Riven is a way better laner than Jungler. She's one of the best top lane options (if not the best) right now while she's a tier down for jungling. She is absolutely dominant against most champs and scales better than any champ in the game. She just hasn't been played enough yet and is difficult to get the hang of.

She's a good laner. You can wreck normals since most people don't know how to fight against her (I've gotten like multiple Quadras in one game once cause of how strong she can be fed). If you are playing against a team that knows how to fight Riven, she is easily kiteable and requires a lot of farm on her part to become useful. Her ratios are so nice that you are essentially forced between going glass cannon or trying to off-tank/dps through Atmogs.

Also don't jungle with her, there are much better choices.

This better than rushing a BF? I tend to go: Doran > Boots > BF(pickaxe if not enough) > Berserkers > Bloodthirster/Infinity Edge > Zeal > PD

Come to think of it, all that goodness of Zeal is <BF sword, so yeah I'm gunna try that next time.

I personally find this build weak. Waiting that long for AD is going to make you lose the lane against someone who can trade blows.

Should be more like: Doran's > Boots > BF Sword > AS Boots > BT or IE > Zeal

That's how I prefer to build. It's pretty easy to farm with him.

I was playing Tankcrank yesterday, man, I had some fucking epic grabs that allowed my team to just dominate some fights. I had something around 80-90% acc w/ my pulls. I actually missed one pull when there were 3 people... shot right between all of them lol.

This is why i hate solo queue ranked, noone even pushed in this game, and all they did was chase down for kills while they then split push to victory.

My justification for this build is the base damage on Buckshot is so godly with 22 ArPen, I would rather have the movement speed to be able to run someone down if/when they get low. Also helps with dodging the inevitable gank that will come for you.

What's the thought process behind telling singed to go bot in dominion? I go there to fool around for a few minutes before class or something so I don't really give a shit what happens, but it seems kind of dumb.

He outright loses to most of the usual guys who go bot in dominion and he gets better as the more people are involved(poison x4) so I really don't get it

this is after losing a game because I went bot vs ryze and had to play passively as fuck until people started to switch lanes around. Got angry that after having a RoA/merc treads I was 0/0/0 while our top lane SUCKED(akali, jax, panth, blitz - how they sucked? no idea).

Hell if I know honestly, I've saved replays where Singed beat Yorick at bot (that same one lost to Heimer the previous game) but haven't looked at it yet. Some bots are deceptively good, such as Cait, who can overcome Yorick because of her distance so long as she is careful and gets that AS/lifesteal asap.

One philosophy for Dominion bot is to apply pressure by pushing with minions, and Singed is one of the best pushers out there. I've seen some solid Singed bots
