More questions: What are some noob-friendly champs? I tried Ashe and Miss Fortune, so far.

Annie.. She is easy to play.. She makes getting CS very easy and get you used to focusing on that part of the game.. She has a crazy good burst.. I started with Veigar instead of Annie cuz Veigar was free the week I started and I probably put myself back a good month because Veigar is both fairly complicated and not that great unless super farmed on CS..

Morgana is a pretty easy champ to get into as well. She farms minions well and has decent burst. Her shield is also a life saver at times. And she is cheap at 1350 up( I think). And as far as the other mages go she is not as squishy.

I second morgana. I remember playing her during a free week when I started to play and thinking, "wow, I can't kill as much, but this must be the best farming champion in the game!" and being really happy because normally I sucked at CSing but that game I was doing really well.

She's also got a pretty high skill ceiling while remaining easy to use for beginners, which is a pretty good first champ to use imo.

Morgana was probably my first champion that I consistently had positive KDAs. I still play her on occasion when I'm feeling particularly vindictive.

When I started like 2 months ago, my friend told me to go Tryndamere and I haven't regretted it yet. I've branched out since then, of course, but Trynd will always be my go-to champ when I wanna break a losing streak. He's one of those champs that's easy to play, but hard to master.

Similar story with Ryze. You go into the Mana section of the store and buy all the things, then you push all the buttons and people die. Like Tryndamere, there are a few more nuances to playing him at higher levels that you'll have to learn such as when and how to engage or disengage, and, of course, the matchups (Who you can and can't lane against, who you can duel, and who you have to be wary around)

Both of these champs are also plenty viable at high levels of play. I'd say they're both on up-swings as far as the meta goes.

Even more important than finding a good champion though, is learning the fundamentals. Make sure to practice last hitting minions. Once you have the feel for when to hit them, practice it while harassing/being harassed, and then practice making last hits with a turret attacking the minions.

She is the worst farmer in the beginning. Especially if you take her bottom lane and they have the usual range and support. My Poppy build is so flat out expensive it's not even funny. I play her as AD and not AP. I go Boots + 3 pots > Sheen > Trinity > Infinity Edge > Blood Thirster > Blade Dancer > Random item if you actually make it this far.

Mechanics has the shark as the ult which sounded like a glorified Zilean time bomb

Several red posts explained more about him like his passive having ignore unit collision. And one of his other abilities was just something to make the part of him being AP have meaning. His hopping makes me think of Dragoon style jumping. I can see this guy will be aggrivating to fight against like Teemo but he's a water champ and hell I waited a LONG time for a water element-ish user!

I don't understand what Riot meant by calling him a "sustained" damage assassin but I guess its because he can hop all around in and out of fights. Was told if you liked Poppy you will like Fizz, so that should work out great XD

Dominion its a lot easier plus its her natural playground with all the possible stun locations. Problem with her in SR right now besides the farming deal is the whole notion of the support at bot meta that still exists. You will have to effectively give up a support and favor someone who can harass as you farm. But at the very least, the longer the game the more dangerous she becomes.

lots of changes in patch preview... i hope the nerf/buff to ranged AD carry is significant enough to see the other carries being used, but its probably a massive nerf to graves/cait/kog, and a real small buff to trist/mf/corki.
