What are some good LoL channels to watch, whether to learn or for entertainment? Is there anybody that does something similar to what day9 does for StarCraft?

Not really unfortunately, but just like SC2 almost every pro has a stream, you can find most of the at http://www.clgaming.net. There is a show similar to SOTG though, called State of the League that gets listed on clg's website as well although I'm not sure the exact time it comes on. I think it would be hard to replicate what Day 9 does with LoL though because the way you want to play at lower levels is totally different than how pro players would play. The only thing that really carries over is mechanical skills so analyzing high level games from a strategic point of view is not going to improve a low level players ability that much. If you try to replicate the same thing at low Elo's or in normals chances are you are just going to feed because you're team won't be on the same page.

If heavy AD I just go max cooldown route with Frozen Heart and Yumuu's. Then go into a Stark's Ferver especially if there is another AD top. Then everything else after that is bonus.

I personally think GuardsmanBob is a bad player who lacks a lot of mechanics. I also cant stand his Lanewick build that he seems quite proud of. People also seem to like his music. Imho watch him for entertainment and not to learn from.

I like Chaox's stream.. He talks about strategies and he doesn't really rage about other players.. But in the end, I just watch whichever stream has a champ I'm trying to improve..

How could you forget HotshotGG, the Solo top king! Oh nevermind, you had him listed as support. He doesn't main support though, I wouldn't go looking for pointers if he's playing support.

Holy shit shyvana is OP, has this been discussed? I was looking last 3 pages by ctrl + fing shyvana. . .
Like I just played 2-3 games and had at least 10 kills.
For reference this is on Twisted Treeline, not 5v5 so might be different in 5v5

It's official, the new masteries have completely fucked over my Kennen. I used to always go down the Defense Tree through Ardor. Now, with that gone, I either can go down defense and do much less damage and live, or I can do full attack and do my old amounts of damage again and die instantly.

He actually mains support now, him and Elementz are swapping positions. He was never a very good person to watch if you wanted to learn solo top anyway as he really only played three champions effectively. Everyone else he would build like they were Galio or Cho and do horrible with (his nocturne in particular was infuriating to watch) as he played even the most aggressive champs like they were tanky support. He's much more suited to his new role I think and is probably a good person to watch for support tips, except maybe when he plays Soraka. Originally Posted by Rivero

Apparently the masteries might be bugged if you lock in and try and change after lock, in champ select. Apparently it might not change them and itll default to what you had on before lock. Haven't tested yet thought, just what i heard.

I don't think Shyvana is OP. She's at a good place so that she isn't UP either. She's become my 2nd fav champ in the game, love the dragon :D

I was bitching about this the day the new masteries came into the game. I was generally playing either WuKong/Poppy/Nasus and I would rage when I played WuKong and then I find out I have Magic Pen with +AP when I set my masteries back to my WuKong page before the game started. It's been a couple weeks (or one...? lol) since the nerf, do you guys have an opinion on Graves? I liked him during free week, but 6300 IP is a lot of points for someone UP. I already have Morde as my beloved but never played champ.

I actually haven't played him since the most recent nerfs. He was fine after the original 35 > 30% nerf. I imagine though that he's still fine. His E late game is what makes him a beast. Kind of like Cait where casting her Q is more of a detriment than a help is some situations.
