He's really underpowered, and has rubbish range on all abilities; also because of his passive being rubbish for the amount of gold needed to spend for the bad stats - means you are down an inventory slot.

how is it that they never get a hero even remotely balanced (like 90% of them anyway) on release? only ahri and ori come to mind as being balanced, or even underpowered on release that i can remember recently, graves and noct dominating the other end of the spectrum on release.
lol @ Ori being balanced at release
I dunno, I played Ori like 10 games and did shit every single time, it's not uncommon for me to not do well with a hero I'm unfamiliar with, but for like 10 games in a row to do absolutely trashy? I dunno, I also quit for like a week then came back and everyone was playing Ori and raping face all of a sudden but I don't remember her being any good day of.
Hell, rolled faces with Karma the day she was released even though she's a pretty awful champ all around these days by comparison to other supports.
It's true it does take awhile for people to learn how to build/play the champ properly till you see if they're actually good or not. Rumble, Talon and Xerath are decent examples of this. Not too many insta-op champs this days like old release Xin, the good days.
fair enough, i know i didn't acknowledge rumble as a decent threat until recently now that peoploe have definitely learned him for better, but still week 1 nocturne sucked, he'd just fly in from across the map and freefarm teams D:
Man solo normal que blows. Being 4th or 5th pick every single game blows due to 2-4 man teams, not to mention you get teamed up with shitties because of how the elo system works. Having to support every single game gets old especially when you know for a fact you're far better than the other team you're just stuck with the uncarryable role.
So play whatever you want to play.
i fuckin hate viktor i am garbage w/ him
New champions seem OP cause players aren't aware of their mechanics or how to counter immediately. Another theory is that they're intentional released as over-powered so players scurry to purchase them with RP![]()
The most OP champ on release in quite a while was Vayne, nobody else has been near her in the 5-6 patches before her and patches since.
true damage OP
Ori was actually a good bit op at release. So far I have been pretty unimpressed with Viktor, been trashing mid Viktors with Ahri no problem. Oh and as stated before op champ at release was Xin, with Ezreal being right there too (only people who couldn't skillshot kept him from Xin status imo)
Oh and yeah Vayne was very op as well at release.
Anyone remember release day LeBlanc? Oh man she had to be ninja nerfed the same day :<
Ezreal imo is still the most OP from release.. q range was way bigger, w healing you and your team.. he was like 4 roles in one.
changed name to Enzan on LoL, finally my name was free!
Wish I was around when Gate was a regular skill for TF
