Anyone have any play style tips on Riven... I usually go x/x-5/1.5x on her With either the highest or second highest CS but i think i can pull a better score. Any tips/advice are more then welcome

I dont like lantern on Riven, its an 'I am going to survive early mid game' item; however that is where Riven is strongest. You need to be able to snowball with her in order to have a good game with her. Frozen mallet + Warmogs is terrible, once you pass ~2500-3000 hp every resistance item that has the same cost as warmogs or FM will give you higher effective health.

Most builds will typically go Doran or boots opening > doran or boots > Brutalizer > Vamp scepter > LV2 boots(Tabi or Merc) > blood thirster > Warmogs or FM(Not both) > Atmas > GA > Sell Brutal > LW

Dont take the build to heart; if you are laneing someone like Trynd and he is beating you feel free to go lantern, if they have 0 armor items feel free to get an early 2nd thirster. Riven is really about abusing her level 1-6 strength to give yourself a lead, the rest of the game you buy items to make sure you dont lose it.

Lantern is really nice. It's not a horrible item either since it gives you like 25 damage/some armor and some lifesteal which is essentially everything you want for Riven in a laning phase. It helps you push out your lane if need be and it gives you a free ward. I'd say only buy Lantern if you're having trouble exchanging (i.e. you fight and both of you take the same amount of damage, you can use that lantern to heal back up faster usually)

I wish there was more options for CDR on Riven but I feel like Bruta is pretty meh. I remember Bruta being like 1337 and Lantern is 1600 I believe and honestly Lantern is just so much better. If you want to play real aggressive, you can skip both and go like Boots 1 > Doran > Doran > Scepter > BS > GA.

Oh god I just had the most hilarious Baron Steal as Karthus. Went over to check, saw they were killing it, got noticed, slaughtered, spammed mines as much as I could, landed the finishing blow while dead.

Anyone still think AP Alistar is still viable? I'm pretty sure my mid was retarded but he let this enemy AP Alistar go 11-1-15 in our game. Damn cow was so fed before he came to my lane that he headbutt+pulv combo'd me for nearly 90% of my hp... ._.

Nope, his cooldowns and ratios are so bad.

Yep, what Fallyn said. He got nerfed too hard in the AP ratios department and it just doesn't help that he's melee and part of his kit was just being able to "burst" you down while maintaining a decent level of tankiness so he could trade pretty easily. There are just better AP's out there now. I'm sure you could make it work with some effort but on a competitive level, he's gone.

I used to play him AP a lot but had just never bothered to try him after the ratio nerfs. Stars aligned for him in this particular game it seems. Reminds me of the really successful but not practical troll builds like magic pen. Mundo (the most fun troll build).

Uninstalled LoL yesterday. Was in the middle of a game ( we were winning ) when it struck me that playing anything but premade 5v5 ranked was pointless in a game such a LoL.

It's a competitive game and there's nothing competitive about being 2100 solo/duo. You can't have a high solo rank and expect to go anywhere with it.

Once I realized that and the fact that I had absolutely no interest in befriending 4 mindless fucks that play Lol I decided it was time to uninstall and call it quits.

The amount of bugs and revamps and everything that needs to be done by Riot in LoL just isn't getting done and won't be any time soon. The game is a joke compared to any other competitive esports game out there. The client doesn't even properly support tournaments for fucks sake. Riot has too much they need to be doing to fix their game and they're not doing anything but creating new champs every week for the money.

Highest rank I got was 1468. Back to SC2
