That's what I love about League. They're so classy and thorough when it comes to doing their animations. They don't just toss a standard walk/idle on everyone and be done with it, they think about how to make everything unique and interesting for each character. I appreciate it a lot.

Okay, seriously. Maybe I'm just bad against him, but Mordekaiser is just annoying as shit. If a Morde is competent at all, I cannot beat him 1v1 mid. No matter who I've gone against him as: Kennen, Morgana, Lux, Ezreal I cannot seem to get any traction against him. He can just harass and then has a shield against any form of harassment. There is no way that I can find to harass him without taking as much or more damage. Not harassing him I'll just be out pushed and then get harassed down while fighting the minions. At level 6 all he has to do if you're low enough is pop his ultimate and ignite on you, and walk away. Maybe he gets a kill or maybe not, either way you just took enough damage to need to go back.

I've had an easy time against Morde as Karthus and Cassiopeia. Karthus's Lay Waste is especially effective.

I would think morg would be an easy match up. Don't worry about harassing him, his shield is just going to eat it like you said. Let him shove the lane, then clear it all out at/near your tower. Rely on your jungler or top to make shit happen with ganks on him. If they don't come, then he's going to get farmed and you're fucked, but such is the way of solo queue. I'm sure there are champs that can take morde 1v1 but I don't have enough experience laning against him to say who. Shyvana and Rumble seem like they'd do well, but they're more top lane.

Best counter to Mord is Rammus. Roll in, shield, taunt, dead. Do that 2 or 3 times and he's now useless.

Cass/Kassadin rape Morde pretty hard. Brand/Annie do a pretty decent job provided he doesn't go full MR.

If you don't stand on top of creeps morde has to decide if he wants to harass you or get cs. Obviously if you are away from creeps and he goes after you he not only misses cs, but loses trades with most because his shield is weak. After he gets sustain and ult, he is a lot stronger so if you didn't crush early when he is super weak then don't try to battle him.
