jungle kayle
jungle kayle
is not great, or even good. I'm sure it's fun though.
i wish you could see my match history.
victory top to bottom in normal draft lvl 30 dominating.
logically speaking why exactly do you think jungle kayle is not even 'good' ? What makes you think she isn't viable at all?
I just recently started trying it out cause I'm looking for new junglers that aren't very common. I'm in the process of figuring out the builds for her. So far though, I've yet to be counter jungled or outfarmed/gold'd by enemy jungler.
no hard CC for ganks, her damage is whatever, clear speed is fine but against anybody competent she will get absolutely wrecked.
Junglers I've gone against and destroyed (more than once):
Udyr
Rammus
Shyv
Noc
Mumu
Shaco
No hard CC for ganks? She has a really good slow and a gap closer with her E. She's tons better at ganking than popular junglers like Udyr or Shyv. Her damage is amazing IF and only IF you build correctly. Clear speed is S tier. Against anyone competent she will get absolutely wrecked? Seems like you're just trying to finalize your construed logic.
I said logically speaking, not what you spouted out. Kayle cannot be counter jungled by anyone effectively except maybe Maokai and even then you will shoo him away before he does any harm to you. Simply Q pop E and kite when he starts to close in closer, pop W for movement speed run the duration of it and continue to auto attack. After level 6 you're practically ungankable.
No hard CC for ganks, pft okay. What is hard CC to you?
Any of those junglers should smash kayle, except amumu. Sorry, you are playing horrid horrid junglers.
I'm glad you are having a good time though, but she is not as good as you think.
Jungle Kayle is definitely underestimated and I like her, but jungle isn't always about head-to-head. Counterjungling is all the rage/FOTM after Kiev, but there is more to the game than that. What Rammus brings to the team is quite a bit more than Kayle, in my opinion (which is why he's banned almost always). Shaco loses head-to-head vs virtually every other jungle in the game unless you check a bush with boxes set up (or he runs in circles and pokes you and eventually gets you low enough to 1v1), so I wouldn't be too proud of that either. As for her ganks, they are solid, but ganks are more about positioning (esp catching the enemy team out of position) than anything else...really need to keep lategame in mind as well (which Kayle is fine for as long as you have some sort of initiator somewhere on the team - a lot of people rely on their jungle for that role). I'm not really sure what I'm saying/arguing...she isn't amazing, she isn't bad, it depends on team comp as well, etc. She's definitely underrated by most people, but very likely being overrated by you altwight. ;p
so you haven't gone against Lee Sin? find that hard to believe![]()
Since you guys seem to be very knowledgeable about jungling on LoL, I have purchased Sejuani as my first jungle champ. Right now, I would say that my win rate with her in the jungle is 65%~ in solo queue and I would like to increase that. I know that solo queue is almost entirely reliant on how competent your teammates are, but I would like some tips on how i build her.
Rune setup: Aspd marks, armor seals, mr/level glyphs, gps quints. I have seen "pro players" using lifesteal quints in her jungle, which I may try as her gank is usually a chase. I have seen armor pen on her, which is a great stat(and very cost effective compared to aspd), but I feel that armor pen doesn't synergize very well with her kit. I'm no pro, and I'm sure if you crunched the numbers then there is a point where her passive stays up at a minimum aspd level and armor pen deals higher damage. I did try movespeed quints, which is -okay-. Her rushdown is fast enough as is and she can jump walls with her q, so move speed shouldn't be too big of a difference. I did try magic pen marks and it sucked lol.
Mastery 0/21/9 which is standard from what I understand. I recently removed my +3hp/sec for the 3 movespeed. I'm sure the movespeed is better.
Equips: I always start cloth+5pot. I have tried my best to do regen+pot but I can't clear the jungle with it unless I have extreme leashes; and those are hard to come by in solo blind. With cloth and pots I(and probably every champ in the game) can do wolves->blue->wraiths->wolves->red->wraiths->golems->wolves/wraiths with or without any help. I usually check if mid is gankable by level 3, just before getting red. I always get boots next. If my team(and my ganks) sucks, I will get HoG, if we are doing well, I'll finish wriggles first. My 3rd item after boots is usually Philo or Phage, depending on gold and how soon I had to recall. The other choice however is to build cloth armor into an aura item. I would like to try something other than cloth ,like vampyric scepter, but I'm not sure what I really want to have in end game.
Finally, I run the jungle with Smite/Flash. More and more I have begun hating flash, as it offers little to my early game(unless they have an aggressive jungler). Imo, Flash gives her the chance to escape 1 turret hit and help secure a kill. I feel that ghost is useless as noone can usually escape without using summoner spells. If their turret is still up, Ghost is a waste because you can keep up auto attacks up until reaching turret range. Exhaust would help against enemy junglers I guess and anyone that tries to focus me while i attack their lane-mate. I thought about Ignite as I have lost a lot of ganks just because I couldn't take more turret hits and my teammate chickened out. Ignite would allow me to trade with enemy junglers too if they got the jump on me(unless they have shields). Getting Ignite is scary though as q becomes her only escape.
So yeah, I only have 2500IP, so thats enough for 1 lifesteal quint. I like sej's jungle because of her chasedown. I do wish she had some built in damage mitigation, but I doubt she'd get it.
If anyone has any experience with her in the jungle or has some ideas just by thinking about her kit, I'd love to hear them.
Edit: Hoping to hear more than "She sucks, just use Shaco/Udyr/Rammus/Lee" :D
I've been testing out AP yi quite a bit lately.
God he's SO good with the right setup
and SO BAD with the wrong setup
I really still have hope that I can tweak him a little bit and master him.
AP Yi takes some luck. If you get fed a few kills then it's GG. But if you start off slow then it's GG the other way.
Even if I'm fed, I feel like in a teamfight after my initial alpha strike, if my team just derps around I'm easily focused (they're bound to have at least one stun to interrupt meditate).
If I can be protected in the slightest it's gg
That game felt soooo good. I especially loved the point in the game where I missjudged where LeBlanc was going to run to, but she flashed back into my ultimate anyway.
That v-day vayne skin...

funny but I like the way the ballista looks
Usually Dorans/Sorc Boot/Hat
then depends. AP/CD items from there on out. I'm almost thinking I need way more CD red items to make him viable. Also, I'm running straight AP runes, which early is nice, but I don't think it's making the enemy really fear me any more than usual. Cd runes or MR/Def runes might help more with lane sustain.

I really dislike not getting flash on almost any champion. Even/especially ones some people say don't need it due to a built in flash equivalent like Sejuani. Assuming you are properly warded, flash allows someone like Sejuani to get in and out of Dragon/Baron for a steal without dying to the other team. Also, while flash is nice for avoiding that turret hit you're talking about, it's also a nice opener...if the person is a bit out of ranged of your Q, if you start running in and they see you and run the other way before you get permafrost on em, that's why you're taking the turret hits you are anyway...open with a flash>Q and you're gonna snare them before they move. I think flash having that instant movement at the start can be huge (though wasting it and not securing a kill is obviously bad, just have to know when it'll be the difference or not).
Really can't help you with Sejuani overall, I played her like 3 times during free week, overall I'm not a huge fan of her. There was some math done however, and if you're buying a tanky item at all, Warmogs gives her more EHP than any armor or MR item as well as giving her damage output. If you build a thornmail/heart, be sure you're doing it for the right reason - which is not tankiness, but utility (aka, heart for the slow aura to make your team tankier). If anyone has any experience with her in the jungle or has some ideas just by thinking about her kit, I'd love to hear them.

I don't think she's an awful jungle, but I don't think she's amazing or OP either. I think she's significantly stronger early game than late when the ability to stop a runner matters more (it's not that relevant in a 5v5 fight - just her aoe stun is, but a lot of tanks have something similar). But ya, she isn't bad, and don't take me disliking her as anything that matters - it's just personal preference and I don't like playing her. I don't like playing Shaco either, fwiw.
