TSM Rainman left team and Dyrus is taking his place. The biggest problem I see with this is that there will be no scapegoat for when Regi and Oddone lose lane/cant jungle?

oddone makes me sad. regi plays like a retard but he is fun to watch.

Oddone in my honest opinion is by far the worst jungler in the competitive scene(Not to mention solo que). He cant play any jungler except Maokai. I dont get why people hold him in such high regard let alone watch his stream. Regi is in all honesty pretty good in lane, he can get inconsistent, but its his inability to own up to his shit plays.

Yeah, can't really compare best support to best top, or best jungle to best mid.

Well sc2 has 3 races but people still consider certain people best overall though it's a bit different for LoL I was just wondering if someone was so much better than everyone else at their one role they were considered best.

SC2's pro-scene is more robust than LoL's right now. By it's nature as a team game LoL is going to require a lot more time to create a deep field of talent and for that talent to coalesce into more teams. Right now we've got the same few teams ending up at the top of every competition, and those teams seem more likely to poach players from each other than to go looking for new talent. As the game grows and more sponsorships become available you'll see more teams spring up and then we can have more competition and hopefully we'll get to the point where something like GSL is viable. Until we've had a lot more competition, the conversation about who is the best is largely opinion.

As for SC2 races vs LoL roles, the comparison doesn't really hold up because every player in SC2 has to play against every race all the time, whereas in current LoL meta each role tends to only interact with it's counterpart on the enemy team. The exception of course is the jungler, but they tend to only come into lane for ganks, then go back to the jungle, so even there you're going to judge their effectiveness by putting their successful ganks and their farm up against the opposing jungler.
