Honestly, I don't get why people think they deserve 1000 RP for the servers being so messed up the last week. Yes, they will probably should/will do something but I doubt it will be 1k free RP to everyone. The ones who got the RP lost champions/skins/runes, so they were essentially unable to play on top of the unplayability of the servers.

So, yeah...were you still able to play with your champions and runes once you logged in? Then why do you deserve the same free stuff as those who were more inconvenienced?

That being said, it's going to take an awesome skin after PFE to make me buy more RP.

As for this taking so long to fix...how did this patch seriously screw things up so badly? Their testing seems worse than SE's.

their forums are complete trash, full of kindergartener's screaming "EVERYONE OR NO-ONE OMG", people really need to get the fuck over it. oh man 7 dollars worth of RP for people that couldn't play their content *at any time* during the shitstorm and even for a brief period after it calmed down in rare cases. a very very small minority of people even got the RP, i really do not see the issue here.

it should have been all or nothing, I agree with that stance. I'm not saying they should have given RP but if they were going to give it they should have given it to everyone.

I played maybe 3 games during the down time just because queue times/server was unstable as fuck so it's not like missing a few of my champions and runes during the week in which i was unable to play would not have been make or break.

edit: also hate the "lolz its a free game you shouldn't get compensation for the server being down."

most people I know have spent more on this game than they would have in subscriptions on any other, that being said. do the people that say this have any clue how much riot games is worth?

right, and if you didn't have runes or champs you wouldn't have played at all. also, it was probably a big freak out moment for people when they first saw the missing content. it is literally riot saying "our bad, we're cool" to people that lost content, that is it.

most people lost 5-6 champions the most extreme case i heard was 20 and it was only a few rune pages. saying they lost all their content and were completely unable to play the game is kind of bullshit, especially since if you really want to play there's always free champions.

also i work from home and was constantly trying to get on LoL to play, I'm sure anyone with any sort of serious job/that maybe only plays a few games of LoL a night could not have played at all during the last week so me saying I was able to play 3 games is someone that was trying to get on it the entire time.

when blizzard has had server issues in the past they add days onto your subscription(didn't SE even do this at one point?), and usually they would only have issues for a day or two, and don't quote me but I'm pretty sure annual income for riot games might even be higher than what blizzard makes on WoW currently, that being said. a 10 win ip boost for their service being out for days and then giving 1k rp as well as the 10 win ip boost to certain individuals that weren't able to use all of their content is a bit stupid.

especially when RP is really the only thing sought after by anyone that's been playing for more than a year

i think SE just gave a free month after the quake downtime didn't they? either way, they are not obligated to give you anything, they gave you a 10 win IP boost, they gave people that lost some or all of their content an extra bonus, i really don't understand what is so unfair about this situation. also, i've played for almost 2 years i think and i still don't have all the champs or the rune pages i want. not for lack of playing either.
