    Because my point is to max parlay last. Difference from rank one parlay and rank five is a whopping 100 damage and the gold increase. Compared to raise moral and remove scurvy parlay is a one point wonder.

    Depends on how much you harass d44k but unless you're actively building mana/mana regen items I've run into mana issues abit on GP whenever I played him(which isn't much anymore since I've been actively building my top/jungle roster). His Q is great at early levels but all anyone has to do is build tabi and your damage drops off alot in comparison to other tops because all he has left in his kit for damage is his passive + ultimate(Jarvan and Wukong have armor shreds and AS steroids, Irelia and Olaf do true damage, malph shits over majority of AD tops, etc). Even after the change I'm not really expecting to play Gangplank top anymore, you can take him mid as a counterpick and just shit over majority of AP champs with Q poke.

    I've been experimenting with MS quints and 19/0/11 masteries on Ashe, while rushing PD after the typical dorans x2, berserkers greaves, and Vamp scepter. With Soraka support, I've been able to defeat every match up so far (mostly Graves).

    Am now level 18. I was told not to worry about Seals and stuff until level 20. Well, I am almost there now and I have no clue how the process works. It looks pretty complicated. What do I have to do to buy seals and stuff? Do I have to combine them? Any kind of help or even like a wiki page that explains the whole thing would be really helpful.

    My advice would be to first get armor pen for melee and magic pen for mages. With either of those two you can cover like 90% of all possible(good) runepages. The other 10% would be junglers and weirdo champs like jax/ryze or something who would rather something else besides armor/magic penetration.

    I dunno whether you should first get flat armor/magic res for the rest or the per level ones.. Maybe hp per level and magic res per level would take you the farthest since you'd be using it for all your champs for some time?

    Also depends on if you dominion at all. Dominion obviously benefits from per level runes more than any other game.

    As for quints.. I don't know what the best first option is. Movement speed, maybe?

    And the other questions: if you look at the shop there's a little rune button, check that out. Sort them to see only the "greater"(?) runes which would be the level 20-30 ones. Everything you see is what you can get in their respective slots, no combining required. The combining thing in your actual rune page is only to recycle runes you don't want - it sucks though, don't worry about it now and you'll understand it on your own later. The seals are yellow, marks are red, glyphs are blue, quints are the big ones that you only get 3 of.

    I don't pay for this game at all (have enough games I do pay for), can I get a full AP and AD carry page done in a reasonable amount of time? I have about 5k IP but I wanted to get Graves first.

    If it's just purchase the best seals/marks/glyphs/quints for each champ and then forget about it, it seems pretty easy. I read all about combining and recycling and stuff like that which seemed insanely complicated and RNG, but if I can avoid that I will.

    Oh and can I reuse the seals/marks/glyphs/quints in different pages? Do I have to buy extra pages? I mostly play AP and AD carries (I think at least, I am not positive on all of the roles yet, but that seems to be what I am doing), AP get Magic pen, and AD get Armor pen, right? Or is that based on enemy champ builds?

    You can use the same seals in different pages, you just need the 9 individual ones to fill each slot. And the armor pen and magic pen are just generally good no matter what against lane opponents since people don't start with defensive items usually(top lane will sometimes start cloth armor) so you can in some instances be dealing true damage with a basic physical/magic attack. You don't REALLY need more pages if you're just starting out, it comes into play more when you play a variety of champs and want specific builds against specific lane opponents(this only really comes into play in draft mode).

    Ignore combining/recycling, it's mostly to remove excess or runes you don't need anymore but since they fixed it so you can't buy more than 9 of a rune anymore it's not that needed. You just simply buy what you want from the shop, add it in to your page, and it's done. If you play both AD and AP you should probably start with flat armor yellows and flat mr blues(scaling mr is good for AD bottom and most top lane matchups but if you're just starting out imo just having flat mr is better costwise) and they are both really cheap. They cost about 200ip each, so for 3.6k~ IP you'll have all your basic defensive rune slots in place for all your champs. Armor/Magic pen cost abit more at 410 per rune.

    When you start expanding your champion library you will need more pages, since some champions don't benefit from Armor/Magic Pen as much as raw stat runes due to their kits, or prefer Attack Speed reds, etc.

    I did the big mistake of buying runes at tier 2 (lvl10-19) since i was by myself until my friend warned me about it. Luckily enough at that time i only played ranged AD carries so when i hit tier 3, i only had my one set of runes to buy.

    Just get to 20 as fast as possible and buy your runes, honestly i would recommend at least maybe getting an IP boost just for the sole reason to get a nice amount to spend on your runes.

    What roles do the yellow, blue and red fill? Is it like magic stuff for yellow, physical for blue, and something else for red? Offense, defense, etc?

    they make runes of all kinds, but the stats that overlap have the best stats in their respective colors. offensive red, defensive yellow, utility blue. purples are the max for any given category of stat, but there are also some unique stats on them such as movement speed.

    I just hit 30 this morning before heading to work, so matchmaking may be a little wonky now, i'm not even sure how much "better" it is. I just want the south americans to get their own servers already, shit's so annoying when getting paired with trolls and shitty lvl 30s who play like they got their account on ebay or beginner bots.

    I was actually wondering about that. Is the south American play style all over-extend and over-aggressive? I also see some pretty stupid item builds.
