So building Twitch the old way doesn't seem to work too well with the new changes. Need more AD to make up for the Expunge changes. So far not liking the new slow but I'll give it some more tries first.
Between always conservative and always aggressive it's best to play conservative
I think hindsight is better in conservative plays than aggressive ones. Ie, you'll learn more in the long run and be able to realize when you're supposed to snap and go really aggressive into towers and what not. Plus, you'll win more by missing a kill rather than suiciding
On killstealing: seriously, think of it more as "kill secure" I can't count the number of times someone has gotten away with ~50 HP because the tank decided not go get that one extra hit in to guarantee they wouldn't killsteal. A kill for your team is a kill for your team. Ideally, yes, the carry gets the kill but I wont complain if Soraka gets a double kill by accident.
Though, legitimate killsteals are absolutely hilarious with my friends. Co-op games especially--we're there to killsteal each other as much as possible.
I don't know if most of you have seen this already but it's awesome.
I know it sounds obvious, but generally you want to be aggressive when you are strongest or they are weakest. Examples of when you are strongest are: you just bought and have an item advantage, you leveled up earlier(Hitting level 6 is usually the best time to go for a kill if they are still level 5), you have a ton of allied minions on your side(Purple caster minions are OP), or have a summoner spell advantage.
Example of when they are weakest: Just used a cool down(Best if used on creeps), they have lowish hp due to lack of sustain, buy GP10 items.(My god it infuriates me when people lose lane and buy GP10 items to 'stay in the game'.)
I really want to just point out minion damage is fucking ridiculous at levels 1-5 and if you allow trades to happen in your minion line there is a good chance you will come out ahead.
That Darius bug is hilarious.
Hey guys, sorry kind of a noob question here. But I've seen a lot of people rocking sunfire capes. Im just curious as to why, because it looks like a bad Randuins imo.
Its used mainly on Amumu and Malphite because it has good synergy with Abyssal scepter; which makes you quite tanky.
I get it when I play Sejuani jungle. Really nice item for her.
It's a pretty shitty item, but fun to have on tanks and champs with dmg auras.
It's pretty decent for split pushing on someone like Shen, too. Though, maybe that update to the Ionic Spark is more worthwhile, dunno, haven't played Shen in a while.
Played a couple random games to try the new Evelynn. Not a huge fan of the change to be honest. The ultimate change I like, not so much the stealth.
I like almost every change made, but I'm not really set on her build yet.
Game 1) Played with a very squishy team, went with Frozen Mallet, Lich Bane and Wit's End. Ended the game with a Support style record.
Game 2) Had 2 tanks so I went Trinity to Bloodthirster. Ended with a lackluster kill record thanks to misplays. But I still feel like the damage was lacking.
I watched a couple streams of 1700+ elo players playing Eve. A few of them believe building AP on her for early game is the only way to go. One of them started Kage Pick as the first item and rushed DFG, others start with sheen and then build abysmall. Some even believe that, as nice as Trinity is on her, the best hybrid item would be Gunblade since hextech will feed into your early game burst.
I was sure that Tanky AD would be the way to go with her attack speed steriods but I do want to try these DFG and Gunblade builds.
