Is Fizz a decent AP... I don't know he isn't really a carry. He is labeled as an assassin but I don't really know what that means. I feel like he is more of an initiator for team fights. Is that about right?

He gets bursty as shit if he gets 1 or 2 early kills. Which is usually really easy with him since he's hard to punish back. But his farm is pretty sucky against ranged AP.

He's a nice counter to alot of AP mids who don't have reliable escapes or shields since he can instantly close the gap, poke and apply dot and hop out.

He's one of the APs that I will straight up lose against as most of my mids. His dash makes it easy to avoid harass and the jump will let him avoid the second half of any harass without trying.

Is it really because of it's activation ability? Because the rest of the stats seem about the same for items of its tier.

its the best item in the game with its active. 500 ap does what, 45% of their health? an extra huge nuke to any AP caster is just too good to pass up, especially when it does that much damage

It's insane on burst AP casters that can get in close like fizz and Annie. Try it on sion. Fun times.

Don't really know if it's going to get nerfed. People haven't been bitching about it. But it really is a good choice. Knowing riot though they may just give it a slight tweak.

its pretty much great on anyone aside from the longest of long range casters, but even then they can use it and not be laughed at.

Daak is right, AP mummy is the way of the future. Many elos have been had because of it. Essentially, Morg flash r zhonya, mummy q r, win fight, win game. free elo for top and bottom

An assassin is basically any champion that's damage is pure burst. More or less, you press every button, insta-gib someone, then you either die, or run away because you have no health to keep fighting.

I thought it capped at 200 damage? Isn't that what the tool tips says?

those are probably just dominion-only items

Just prospectors.. the madreds razor clone and the bloodthirster without creep stacks I think. And banshee's veil clone. Lightbringer too maybe? idk if that's in regular play or not.
