Is the stream down for anyone else?
Is the stream down for anyone else?
Went down for me, apparently the internet at the venue went down
CLG EU pulling a 'CLG EU'. Down 8 kills, ~10k throughout the game but come back to win. I feel bad WE had to restart that game after that amazing early start because a Blitzcrank would have definitely screwed up CLGs strategy. Blitz just wrecks Baron dances.
Wow. 3rd WE vs CLG game. They say "Wards win games" but this is literally a game where the wards are dictating everything. Crowd is even cheering ward kills now lmao. No more wards = no baron.
AHAHAHAHA fucking DDOS trolls... timed that perfectly.
clg had that game.... and blew it(shoulda ended it while they had the chance for almost 20 minutes) because the internet was knocked out. probably the cock tease of the century.
or? not? the fucking casters are being vague as fuck
edit2: ah, i guess they are deciding if they are gonna make them restart a second game... oh jeez.
edit3: to fix confuse
stream didn't knock out, it was the internet again
last we saw was what the players last saw too
CLG had it, most of WE was almost dead, all their ults down, CLG still had ori ult and everyone but ez(GA up though) at ~100%
edit: here's a pic http://i50.tinypic.com/nobkhg.jpg
bummer that there isnt a rule in place in this sorta situation. lots of money on the line, so riot doesnt wanna piss off the player base. like i said, clg had that game. but looks like a remake is whats happening
edit: stream doesnt work if internet doesnt work. so semantics
edit 2: there goes the internet again.
Looked like you meant stream went out and they continued playing which resulted in CLG fucking up and losing
sorry, edited it so it makes more sense. also, did the internet really just go out again..... .____.
What a joke. Learn to internet, Riot. Rather, learn to LAN mode and not have your tournament games connect to the public internet. They're fucked regardless, whatever the outcome of this game is there's gonna be a shit storm.

The longer the stream was down, the more ridiculous the claims of why it happened got. Also, among all the China DDoS theories, there's this thread on reddit that shows one of the WE players looking up and to the left mid-game when he had no business doing so, and people think both WE and Frost have been looking up at the large minimaps they have at the venue mid-game. Reginald and Chaox both said after their loss that during the pause at the start of their game, Frost looked at the minimap , and used that information to get the first blood on them.
Yeah I don't understand why they made it so easy to ghost each other. Can't really blame the players since Riot made it blatantly easy.
CLG EU taking late game to a whole 'notha level. GG
tournament continues tonight 5pm PST. final match of clg EU vs WE, then on from there.
the level of butthurt from TSM fans is amazing right now on the LoL forums
edit: they announced the results of the cheating investigations-
Hi everyone,
We’ve completed a comprehensive investigation of all alleged incidents of players looking at the venue screen at the World Playoffs. Our full rulings are posted by bitingpig below, but here’s the tl;dr:
We evaluated these cases based on intent, severity and tangible impact to the course of the game. Based on our investigation, the Azubu Frost incident is the only one where we determined there to be tangible impact – we believe other members of AzF modified their gameplay (level 1 ping and Jayce brush check) based upon the information gained. We don’t believe, however, that these actions decided the winner of the game.
Per our rules we are issuing a fine of $30,000* for unsportsmanlike conduct. Proceeds will go to our charity program in Korea.
Here are summaries of our findings on the other incidents:
Quarterfinal #4, Game 3 (CLG.EU v. Team WE) at 19:24 on the game clock – WE WeiXiao looked up at the venue screen. Practical benefits to Team WE were limited - Corki’s moves after WeiXiao’s look would have been logical, whether he saw Sona’s position on the venue screens or not. We have determined this to be unsportsmanlike and have issued a warning.
Group Stage A (IG v. SK) at 13:00 on the game clock – iG Zz1tai looked over his right shoulder at the screens. From our analysis, there was no material impact to the game. We have determined this to be unsportsmanlike and have issued a warning.
Quarterfinal #3, (restarted) Game 1 (AZF v. TSM) during game pause – TSM Dyrus turned his head to determine whether it was feasible to see the minimap screens from the stage. TSM obtained no direct meaningful benefits from Dyrus’ action as the game was restarted, but we have issued a warning.
Quarterfinal #2, Game 1 (TPA v. NaJin Sword) at 4:11 on the game clock - TPA Stanley briefly looked to his left, then looked forward and adjusted his monitor. We’ve determined he was responding to glare issues. The position of all five players of NaJin Sword was already visible to TPA at this time. While Stanley violated the referee’s instructions to look forward at all times, there was no unsportsmanlike conduct.
*20% of current tournament winnings.
We take this stuff seriously. Our rules on sportsmanlike conduct are clearly communicated to competitors, and our decisions here are based on those rules. More importantly, this sort of behavior shouldn’t have been possible in the first place, and we recognize that and have taken steps to ensure it doesn’t happen in the future.
edit: nvm im derp. still 30k moneys for charity though
So I finally got my alt to level 30, and the matchmaking shenanigans are already starting. My FIRST match as level 30, 165::144
Won: 714
Won: 1705
Won: 1415
Won: 835
Won: 1491
Won: 1175
Won: 1011
Won: 789
Won: 2031
BALANCE
My pairings have always been stupid. (yet we won our match. The 2000 win Ezreal on the enemy team quit after we were 6::1 on them)
it is your alt and you won the game, what the fuck are you complaining about?
Who was I kidding thinking things would get better at lvl 30? Last five games I've lost and finished being the only one that's positive.
I've been leveling an alt with my roommate and haven't had a KD ratio under 7:1 for my last 10 games, and am averaging 220 CS per game, yet I've only won 2. Teams are bad at all levels, it's just that when I play on my lvl 30 my team gets crushed in creep kills rather than in actual champion kills.
Can someone give me a good run down on positioning Orianna's ball?
I'm glad TPA won, mainly because of the AzF cheating scandal that happened earlier in the tourney. I know they would have beaten TSM regardless, so the fact that they cheated, along with the fact they were playing the underdog team made it easy for me to side with TPA.
Fuck TPA. Knocked out my boys M5. Whatever though, Season 3 is all about Aphromoo.
