Several sites like GGC, ReignofGaming, TeamDignitas etc etc cover esports news from time to time, but there's no central news hub since alot of these sites are run by teams so they'd get firsthand info on stuff. Reddit does a good job of collectively putting it all in an easy to find place. Just avoid the comments section and stick to clicking links that only lead to articles or team related news.

I completely agree, while reddit is one of the best sites for straight facts and information, their community as a whole is semi-retarded and hypocritical. The best way, however, to get that information 1st hand is to follow all the pros on twitter(Which is where mme announced Balls leaving).

Surrenderat20.net and Reddit are decent sources. Twitter is great for pro team gossip and the like

Holy shit on a stick. They had our mid inhib down both turrets down hitting our base inhib respawns we kill 4 push back get the mid tower and ihib tower, they push back and get our ihib after killing 3 of us. We respawn and they have enough damage to them that Naut and Ez kill them all(EZ gets a penta because MF was focusing the base). We push back and get the inhib +1 tower. Jax takes out top and ihib while they push back. We kill them and then push back into their base for the win.

Shit was epic comeback.

I don't like abyssal on karth. IIRC it doesn't proc anymore when you're dead and they'll generally be out of range.

Or, early on in the game, get a Archangel's Staff. Karthus is spammy enough with his Q he should be able to cap it.

Ya overall for max AP it works out better than that 2nd Deathcap.

Honestly there are 2 build to go with on Karthus; the straight AP go in and die every team fight, in that case tear and hextech should be your 1st 2 buys, followed up by hard AP stacking.

The second build should be the stay alive as long as possible while doing a ton of damage, in which case you want to be building RoA 1st, followed by things like Abyssal and hourglass.

For the 1st build you can make it even stronger by going zombie karthus, and the 2nd build should be running flash and either exhaust or teleport; ignite isnt that important on Karthus.

For Karthus, I go:

boots+ potx3 at start >>> 2 Dorans ring > Sorc. Boots > Rabadons > Zhonyas > Void Staff > Rylai's = Abyssal (if AP heavy)

or

boots+ potx3 at start >>> 1 Dorans + Catalyst > Sorc. Boots > Rod of Ages > Rabadons > Zhonyas > Void Staff > Rylai's

That feeling when you lose toplane to Darius as Rengar, but the game is lost cause the 11 kill Twitch in your botlane goes full derp because he got fed and got caught a ton to the point where our kill advantage was gone. At least it made me feel better about losing lane.

Also fucking Jayce needs to go on sale already, Riot is holding out.

My current goal in LoL is to punish every Corki and Ezreal player with Twitch, Draven, or Kog'Maw. It's a lot of fun punishing players who rely on blink abilities, mwahaha

But really, Twitch is under-rated I feel. His early dmg is borderline obscene and his Ambush trumps most blinks for escaping ganks it seems. I've only played him against Ezreal, Corki, MF, and Graves, but I can imagine Varus and Caitlyn could ruin his lane.

The biggest problem with twitch is his lack of mobility, sure this may not be the biggest issue in lane, but when a malphite or irelia jump at you in team fights there is no getting away. Now this can be circumvented of course by picking peeling teammates, but who is going to do that with regularity in soloque.
