so i finally redeemed my gamestop gift card for a $25 riot points card, bought MF (since i need more ADC counters, and she's fun to use), and olaf, i'm saving the rest of the points for future champs/skins, what's to build w/ olaf top lane? I know hp items like warmogs is one of the most useful things for him.

If I remember correctly, and I could be totally wrong on this, but I think I started saving and was able to buy a full page of rune for a level 20 by starting to save at level 15. Before that you can use your IP to buy champs. I think I splurged one day and just bought all the super cheap champs with IP so that I had a base of champs to play pretty much every role.

I guess so. I wanted more than one set when I hit 20 and my method worked for me.

Build tanky and win game. The only AD items that are good on him are black cleaver, hex, frozen.

hex gunblade? does he actually have AP modifiers? I know his true damage is an HP modifier, that's why i would go warmogs, BC, frozen mallet.

his true damage doesnt have a modifier, it just uses health as a resource. shurelias is also amazing on him as he benefits from every stat and especially from the active.

Gotcha, thanks! Gonna work w/ a build later on. Would maw be a luxury item since it builds off hex?

if you're going up against heavy ap, i'd honestly get hexdrinker quick and then finish maw later on. my usual buil involves hexdrinker>phage>brutalizer>fm>cleaver>warmogs>maw if i am dealing with that. otherwise i dont really bother with a hexdrinker unless its needed.

Up to 2800 or so IP right now and that's only with me not being level 8 yet. Am like.. 7.5 or maybe a little more. I'm just gonna horde IP and maybe wait for sales or whatever on champs. Kog'Maw/Irelia sale. if you guys see it and I'm not online, lemme know!

Maw is a terrible terrible item lol, just finish it off at the very last. GA > Maw

Rushing Warmogs as a bruiser is kinda' fucked up right now. It's really hard to win exchanges if you can get an early one.

If I remember correctly, they are making Giant's Belt give less HP in the PBE and I think cost a little more as well.

Most pro streams I watch they do Warmogs are first or second item.
