You being Wu?
You being Wu?
Yes.
Darius generally poops on every melee top. You can E Q and W juke. It's best to stay near bushes for the most part to try and trick him. Change the direction that you move every time you W. Akali is basically just E Q W harass as much as you can. Or if she Q's you you basically just don't let her proc it. I'd probably go Clothe armor + 5 bots vs darius and vs akali Flask and 2 health pots.
I hate topping against Singed more then anything. He eats my face as Garen.
I guess that's why i love top so much, it feel like a fighting game to me, heavy matchup dependent compared to ADC.
cool, first game I get into.. my game crashes and I can't get back into it :/
Thresh is fun as fuck. His style of play is a bit odd but quite effective.
Man, I'm having trouble dealing with Thresh. It's not so much that I'm getting caught, but I rarely get a chance to punish the opposing ADC if they're out of position because he can just re-position them to safety haha. He doesn't seem OP or anything but perhaps they can shorten the length of his lantern ever so slightly.
Friend of mine is getting quite good at throwing down a lantern to save people. The only problem is people remembering to hit the lantern. There was an excellent save near blue, though, where our Jayce got caught along the curved wall. Lantern toss over and walk towards the tower. Pop, Jayce is now saved from the pincer and back near our tower. Now if only my friend would realize that the grab is not as safe of an initiation as Blitz...
Edit: HOLY FUCK PBE notes include this:
Kennen
Slicing Maelstrom ( R ) energy cost reduced to 0 from 50/45/40 energy.
Making my best champion (who is secretly OP already) even more OP? Yes please.
Riots general philosophy tends to be to release champs a little overpowered then nerf them slowly. I think they do this for two reasons. First, so people do a first day buy. Second, because it's probably easier to nerf a little than buff a little. Buffs tend to cause exponential issues.
As for Thresh, I would think it might actually be better to punish the Thresh instead of the ADC early. While his lantern gives him the position advantage his other two abilities tend to put him out of position. Also take advantage of his long cooldowns in that time.
Going to pick up Taric today because my support champ selection is really slim. Only buying champs on sale has really stretched these LoL card Christmas presents.
Also, looks like they are decreasing the recipe price of Trinity Force to 3. Pretty nice for a couple of my champs.
The only support champs I see even worth having now are Taric/Sona/Lulu/Zyra/Janna. Unless I am missing a major one, don't really care for Soraka much anymore.
Nunu is ridiculous. Two slows, an AS/MS buff, and incredible mana and health sustain. Leona is still great and underappreciated too.
and blitz
Yeah, I'd argue Leona/Blitz/Nunu/Lulu/Taric/Zyra are king at the moment (especially for solo queue), with Janna/Sona being a close "2nd" to them. I've ran into some cruel Sonas but the nerf she got a few months back has made exchanges a lot more fair.
Blitz has always been mediocre to me, and I've never perceived him as a threat. In ranked I'd always try to keep him unbanned to goad the other team into picking him, so I could counter with Leona.
I've never played Zyra though. Is her support role just constant harass?
Blitz is one of the best supports hands down.
Grabs can win games, as well as the silence on ults doing crucial things and manashield being amazing for baiting.
Zyra really shuts down the tradey supports ( janna/sona/taric/soraka ) by shitting on them from great heights, once laning is over and teamfights begin she is all about disrupting the initiate or preventing the disengage with her ult as well as her root/snares being pretty decent in catching people out.
