Why do I keep going 3/4/24 on Ez? I just don't get it, I never get a killshot and it's driving me crazy. Any advice?

Loving Morde these days.....
Had a Quad and unofficial Penta last game. Dude is a beast.
I was making that comment before any of the matches were played yesterday and was basing my impression off the last time we saw CLG, which was at Pax, where they barely beat Dignitas at their weakest and Crs who'd just had a roster change. Obviously, I underestimated how much Link was bringing to the table.
As for Hotshot, I don't know how you can say he doesn't have an ego. Hotshot benched Voyboy, who is probably the bet top-laner in NA so that he could have top back for himself. Tell me the last time Hotshot actually carried from top. All Hotshot has shown thus far in LCS is the same shit he was doing in S2 which is to just pick a tanky, safe champ and just stand in front in team fights. Voyboy consistently wins his lane and is comfortable on play-making champions.
As for who's the best team in NA, let's wait for more than 4 LCS games to be played, shall we? This goes on for, what? 3 months?
As someone who just got into this in late November, I find the culture around it kind of fascinating... the obsession with pros that some people have. I mean, yeah, it's got standard troll/ragemode internet toughguyisms going on, but the more dedicated scene seems... I dunno. It's just interesting. I enjoy the game thoroughly, though, and am having a blast working out the heres-and-theres to get better at it. Favorite champ so far (played *MAYBE* 20, so my list is limited), is Teemo, followed by Thresh and Nasus.
I know there are about a hundred and fifty pages here, and I'm slowly making my way through it, panning for advice-gold, but does anyone have any good tips for playing support and jungle? I can mid well enough on TF and Veigar, fake-ADC with Teemo and Thresh (at least at my current ELO), and top really well with Teemo, Nasus, or Thresh, but jungling just doesn't come intuitively to me, and support never seems to go well, either. Who are good, easy champs to work with on those, to get a feel for the practical theory?
Anywho, I'm Averien on NA if anyone's bored some night... I'm usually on 8:30~ Pacific through about midnight if I'm on. Always welcome critique and observations.
Discussing the pro-scene is obsessing?
You act like Doublelift and Chauster don't make the calls for that team. Hotshot doesn't bench anyone, CLG as a team gang up on the weakest player whenever they lose. Voyboy is a fantastic player, but when he was playing for CLG he was awful. He won literally 0 lanes against good teams and constantly wanted to play stupid shit like graves, corki, and ezreal instead of late game team oriented champions like shen and olaf.
So Hotshot, who hired his mother as team manager, doesn't run CLG? Okay. If Chauster and Doublelift are the ones making the roster calls, why is Hotshot still a starter? He's been the weakest on the time for a while. Easily weaker than jiji when he was released.
Pretty much everything you said has nothing to do with voyboy being benched, but I stand by what I said regardless. Yes, Hotshot legally owns CLG and obviously makes the final calls on situations and is probably part of the reason he hasn't been benched, but you undervalue the power that chauster and doublelift have. Chauster even said in his ama if they wanted to bench hotshot they could. He would have no choice but to bench himself if he and Doublelift wanted him to.
They didn't bench jiji, jiji benched himself because of all the blame they lay on him. Constantly called him a weak player, he doesnt roam, he doesn't ever kill his lane, etc.
Also I think you undervalue Hotshot. He does lose lane a lot, but you have to realize he never gets to counter pick his lanes. He always picks whats best for his team to win regardless of how bad it loses lane. Also, you really make tanking sound like it doesnt take any skill and isn't valuable. This game isn't all about winning lane and tanking isn't just "hur dur stand in the front"
We obviously have very different impressions of hotshot. You seem to think he's a selfless player who has to labor under unreasonable teammates. I think he's a guy with a big ego who cares more about the spotlight than his team's success. Frankly I don't care enough about the guy to keep talking about it, lol. Link is the big star on CLG now anyways, imo.
lol. You obviously don't follow esports closely.
If you say so. If not reading AMAs by mediocre players like Chauster means I don't follow esports, I'm cool with that.
Ah, okay then. I was going to say that if this was obsessing you should check out the NFL thread sometime, lol.
LOL what? that whole post was full of wrong.
edit wow, nevermind, didn't update like 30 posts before i sent, regardless, hotshot does have a massive ego and it is completely unwarranted. doublelift does too, but at least he is widely recognized as the best AD carry NA
