Dat Jax lol.
I would suggest just playing normals. Do it on all kinds of champs, melee, adc and casters. You kinda just need to focus on their health and just keep an eye on the other champs and your support (if you are adc). It just comes with time, and it's not something that you will just be good at all at once. I have my good games and bad games.
Still stuck in Silver III. Win a game and I'm in II. These past few weeks just haven't been awesome. It's been weird though, it's not people feeding uncontrollably lately, it's that people just don't know how to play the game. The other team will send 4 mid or 5 bot. Sure they'll get a tower while I sit back, but then we get nothing back for it, the other lanes just sit there last hitting while their lane roams. Then, since bot or top is down (let's say I'm mid), everyone comes mid and takes my cs, then we STILL don't get the mid tower. As soon as I roll bot/top to catch up, the rest of my team rolls bot/top to deny me.
I can't tell you how many games there have been where I'm winning my lane, but other lanes fail within 10 minutes then come crowd my lane/push me out, then I quickly fall behind. Not sure what to do in those situations. In my head that's when we group and knock out towers/roam, but that never happens. I'm stuck sitting around hoping a minion waves pushes in far enough where I can actually get some CS (and also hoping the support doesn't come steal the wave before I can get to it).
Add me Denchi. I'm AdamBritt on League. Maybe we can duo sometime and bust out of Silver.
I have noticed this a lot too. Not much map awareness, but I have noticed that if you just mention it politely in chat, most people will react quickly to the situation.
As for mid. Yeah, it sucks.
Another problem I have is people taking down towers as soon as the other team backs for the first time. Ending laning at level 6, not such a good idea.
So 7 people in NA and 7 in EU almost got banned from LCS for elo-boosting.
And this is the problem with e-sports. It's a bunch of kids with no feeling of responsibility using their internet fame do anything they feel they want. They are taking a dump on the golden egg. It's moronic. Most of these kids are barely out of high school, and they are managed by a bunch of losers. I think Riot was way too lenient on them. They should have just straight out banned them and set a hardline to legitimize the system.
Fucking morons.
They didn't ban them because of the harm it would have done to the LCS overall, a bunch of these teams core players would have been removed leaving them to scramble to find replacements.
Not really. At most two players from each team would be lost and I am pretty sure they are required to have at least two alternatives, and most teams have more. The worst thing is that most (not all) of these guys were on the "pro" teams. And seriously, LoL players are a dime a dozen. Most streamers are better than some of the people even on the best teams.
I need to get out of y shell of feat and start playing ranked. Not caring whether i win or lose as long as i get experience in. I always tunnelvision w/ w/l ratio in fighting games and this game is just as bad. I'm still learning support in normals and i need to just practice jungle so i can at least get a feel for every role and fill it. However my adc game will still be the strongest.
just play normals until you improve your skills. there's no incentive or rush to play ranked, and you don't really need to do it at all. also your first ten games weigh more heavily and determine your tier placement, and you want to do as well as possible on those. don't feel like you have to do ranked; normals are the standard for this game.
I'm on silver II from my first 10 game placement. Thing is i got away with playing only top and adc, and once as support malphite. Lol
Jungle Xin has changed my game. Bruiser jungles ftw.
I will pick up xin and hecarim for jungling, already have vi.
Aren't the top junglers right now Xin/Hec/Vi/Jarvan? Not sure how the nerfs to Jarvan will play out but I still see him as a high pick.
Also, has anyone tried kill lanes with Taric + Sion and Panth + Darius? Saw where Doublelift was saying this was the easiest way to carry yourself out of Silver nowadays.
I've been junging Xin and Hec. I prefer Xin's playstyle. I'm playing him pretty tanky/utility instead of hypercarry build. I get a few kills but I can fucking LOCK people down. New price on Locket is fucking sexy. Saves me half a jungle clear to get it.
How bad are the nerfs to Elise's Q?
They're not. Went from human form to spider form.
