Except for those days when the minions are just downright determined to out CS you.

How are you supposed to use Quinn's R. It seems pretty crap when you are already engaged. I assume it is something you are supposed to use pretty much only when you are pursuing or gap-closing, but she already has a great gap-closer, and if you are pursuing then you have already have burned your cooldowns. Is it basically only good for crossing the map and split pushing or should I be doing a better job of knowing when to use it preemptively?
When you have a decent build you can absolute shred enemies. The attack speed you get is ridiculous. I 1v1'd a Singed in like 4 secs with BotRK.
I tend to use it more for split pushing/chasing. But in the right situations you can fuck someone up pretty quick in bird form.
You have to build around Runaan to make it effective. It's good on characters like Kog or Twitch that have on-hit effects and steroids in their kit, but you have to know going into the game that you're building that for him. Basically, it's built if your character scales really well late-game. Shiv is good if you're going to be pushing the lane a lot. It's good if you're split pushing because you can clear waves way quicker with it. PD is just a good item, and I think it has more use in teamfights because it ignores unit collision.
I find that I can stomp in normals without a problem for the most part after playing ranked for a couple of months. I like to do normals to practice new champs, but I don't think it's a good way to determine skill.
It's either that, or everyone in ranked is retarded and makes everything difficult.
It doesn't seem like that item is very popular (something like .25% of ranked games in NA according to this), but the item does intrigue me as something that could be good if used right on a teemo or varus or something
It works good w/ varus, it works great w/ caitlyn too.
The reason you dont see Runaans often is its low attack range, 300. One champ I do find it fun on(Not necessarily effective) is Graves. Being able to quickdraw every 2 seconds when the passive is going off is hilarious.
the range just got buffed to 425 with the latest patch
It's 375 now
And it's still hilarious when Vayne builds it
there's absolutely no reason for vayne to build it. lol
Back into Silver II.......got 2 games in last night.
Played Teemo vs Rengar (darned Nasus went jungle). And I sucked ass early lol. I mean really early I was dominating. Then for some reason I thought I could win trades? I'd never gone vs a Rengar as Teemo, so I wasn't as familiar with his ranges/skills. Ended up coming back and dominating. Once I got going I could melt anyone else on their team. Still a bit embarrassing early. Just kept trying to farm and blind/harass him a bit if he jumped on me, didn't seem to work out.
Thought if I could shroom the place up I could do a bit better, but he wouldn't even let me shroom :-/ Most of my deaths just came from trying to ward/set up. couldn't set up at all. F'ing Rengar....good thing I pwned him late.
guess it's 375 as of 3.04 and I'm dumb
If I remember correctly, they had to specifically recode Vayne's W so that hurricane wouldn't reset the rings on her main target when secondary ones were around. So they already did a bit of a work to make it less of a noob trap on her. Would be even more hilarious if they had let the rings reset.
