I got moved up to Silver IV for some reason. Not gonna complain, but I don't understand why I get shifted around so much without a promotion series.

Ive had that happen too dmitry. I actually ranked down to bronze IV and got pissed and didnt play for 2-3 days, come back and I'm Rank III again lol
Watching Voyboy on Irelia at work inspired me.
Loving me some Irelia again, been a while since I've played her.
So I'm 1/1 in my promotion series to bronze II, who wants to help me ensure my promotion to BII?!
The game I lost our first pick had the choice between malphite or blitz and chose blitz which I could deal with. But then went AFK for half the match and of course the other team got malphite.
2 things.
1. I dodged my first ranked game because I had some friends log in and I wanted to play with them. Does this count as a loss?
2. I now own and have been playing the current prime jungle picks. (Sejuani(freechamplol), Xin, Hec and J4)
I LOVE Xin's playstyle but I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I build utility support (madred's then lv1 boot, locket, runic (if I'm going heavy tank), mallet and then situational items (MR, Armor or (never happens) AD).
I alternate between doing blue/wolves (picking up Q first then E) and quick ganking as fast as possible or doing a full jungle except for golems and going Q,W,E then ganking depending on what kind of comp the other team has.
Even if I get an early kill or 2 I seem to fall behind after my second round of ganks. I try to keep everything in the jungle down as much as possible but my teammates have complained of me being low-farm.
Just using Xin as an example from a recent game. We had a Ziggs facing a Kassadin mid and I focused pretty heavily on keeping that lane clean. Our other two lanes were pretty pushed up to the other teams turret and there was little help I could give. Both lanes were complaining about my lack of attention to them even though they were up 4-2 bot and 2-0 top. Are they just dicks?
I fucking love jungling and playing the current bruiser/initiator is awesome but in most of my games I feel like I fall behind and am hindering a win.
Also, add a bro.
My main account is Zetanio, smurfy is OneBillionFoxes.
1. Assuming it acts like a promo series, a dodge is a loss.
2. There are a few standard jungle routes, Level 2 gank off blue being on of the weakest outside of the possible surprise factor.
Standard routes:
Level 3 double buff: Wolves > Blue > Red > Gank; Very strong hits early depending on jungler and strength of leash. Lanes will be level 2, or even level 1 if you go fast and they dont push.
Level 3 double buff: Wraiths > Red > Blue > Gank; exact same as above except you end on the other side of the map.
Level 2 invade: Wraiths > Red > Their red > Your blue; You should expect to kill them at their red OR steal their red if they jungle slowly.
Fast level 4: Wolves > Blue > Wraiths > Wolves(Golems take more hp) > Red; By the time you finish red most lanes will have wards and you will be low on health. Backing is fine but you lose at least 1/4th duration on red and blue has worn out.
Anyways bigger question is what to do when your lanes are essentially ungankable. Ward their jungle and if your stronger fight them! If their lanes dont react to your invade you get a free kill/jungle camps or at the least you send their jungler back keeping your lanes safe for the time being. If you cant kill the other jungler, still ward their jungle and attempt counter ganks. Best case scenario you get a double kill; worst case you get to cover their lane and get a ton of exp/gold. Also if their jungler ganks top and your not in a position to counter it; do dragon.
One final thing to keep in mind is dont listen to your teammates bitching; if they are good enough to give advice they are good enough not to lose their lane.
If lanes are ungankable, try and route around the most vulnerable lane ( or one without wards ) for counterganks, or what I like to do in ranked is just farm 1300 and buy wriggles and just take very fast dragons. If your botlane is pushing this works great as they can just shove a wave and come to help and their lane cant do anything.
Wriggles is, in my opinion, never worth it anymore. Youre spending 900 gold on a jungle only item. Youre better off keeping it at madreds, and using your vamp scepter to build into BotRK or bloodthrister. The wriggles upgrade only slightly increases your jungle speed/sustain; where as not upgrading it youre essentially saving yourself 900 gold in your build.
thank god finally did my promotion deciding match and ranked up to Bronze II ( i know "LOL bronze" ) but hey its a step in the right direction. 22/20 in ranked so far.
Played Sejuani this week since she was free. Thinking about picking her up and putting her in my jungle selection. She's pretty hardcore with just a straight HP build
btw, i don't think this is a good place to ask, but does anyone have a hookup to the PAX codes, specifically the riot graves code. full metal rammus would be a bonus. XD PM me, if it's not ok to ask, then ignore this post.
Yeah if you have them give them to me instead of Nitsuki. Thanks.
Tron Sivir plx
Dont think Tron Sivir was handed out this time around. Just Rammus and Graves.
If you follow @MrsViolence on twitter she's giving away a lot of them.
Don't knock on Sejuani, she can be a powerful initiator and tank. She's my main jungle.
who's knocking her? i love her!
The only reason not to get it, is if you value getting a bilgewater cutlass for the movement debuff/lifesteal instead, in which case you'll usually ride the madred+bilgewater until you have locket+giant belt completed. ( on non ap junglers ).
900g over madreds gets you
10% lifesteal - 400g
15ad - 600g
5 bonus armour - 100g
- 1100g worth of direct stats + 200 bonus damage on procs for clear speed + passive gold from ward use.
It's effect as a passive gp10 from the wards is very underrated.
philo is 5gp/10, wriggles is 3.35gp/10 assuming you drop the ward on time.
I don't think the problem is with her when she is off cooldown. It's when things are on cooldown and you basically only get CC from autoattacks. So off cooldown, super powerful CC and initiate, balanced by ok initiate and weak CC when ult is on cooldown. I am pretty sure rebalancing this is going to be their main goal in the rework.
Haven't played her in a while, so I might be remembering wrong, but I am pretty sure that is why most people don't like her kit.
Any tips for items w/ hecarim? A lot of guides and one guide by theoddone, the build they recommend usually is merc treads, spirit lizard, spirit visage, locket, frozen gauntlet, and warmogs or randuins. Would getting a tf be a bad choice?
I think the problem with TF is that it's pure damage on a tanky jungle. The rest of the items you listed are all basically tanky items. My personal feeling is that TF usually requires getting another offensive item to be really potent, by itself it is decent, but in the case of Hecarim its going to take the place of something else which would probably be better.
