If your MMR is under your divisions average rating you will get way less points.
eg i'm on a 6 winstreak in ranked but only on 29 points - because I was only gaining +3/win and usually 1-3/loss.

What it means is I'm gold 1, but my elo is probably not quite there.
I need to win a bunch of games in a row to boost my mmr, so I can actually get decent points/game to have a chance to get promoted ( to plat ).

Enh. As you get closer to league promotion series, your points fall off a *TON*. I had to go from 60 to 100 getting 3-4 points per win in Bronze I, but losing 20-25 for a loss. The same phenomenon doesn't really happen in other divisions, at least not to that extent, but it's *REALLY* noticeable in division I.

Your first time in? Because I pretty much won straight through from 85-100, and then as soon as I hit Silver V, I was getting 20-25/game. From what I've read, though, if you lose a league series, your point growth goes back to normal levels, or at least that's the typical experience.

Ah, yes, I forgot that part about league promotions. Basically they decrease the gains to avoid incorrectly promoting you.

Series 1 LP gains/losses cannot be compared to V - II. I clamps you like fuck a lot of times then releases the closer you get. I got into the 60's and was getting 3-5 got to about 87 and then lost two games and dropped to 55 then got to 100 in 2 wins.

I think the little clock in the lower left-hand corner goes away, but they said it could take up to 48 hours to process it

It's not conspiracy theory; it's something Riot has out-right stated will happen. Either you hit your first league series before changes were done, or you got lucky with a glitch. Every other division, it's MMR based, but Division I, your first time around, is different.

IE stacking is better than BT stacking for pure damage. The trade off of course is the life steal. The item he should have gotten was a LW so he can kill Yorick faster.

I did something similar w/ blitz. Leashed them for 1k then ulted for 1.2k. Jax and Ashe had no idea wth happened when i two shoted them.

Win 10 games, then go to the icons and there should be one similar to the one you picked but without the circle in the corner anymore. May take time for it to show, but you do have to find it in the icons section as it doesn't automatically replace the timed one.

Hate you, as soon as you mentioned this my gains started dropping.

I guess I just had a long intro period. I literally had 4 promo series in a row where I would lose the series then win once or twice and be back in the promo series.

70 AD vs 100AD stacked? 25% crit chance isn't going to out do the 30 AD and LS from a BT.
