I switched over to the Korean servers recently, which was actually way overdue. Aside from the ping, nothing is different. Your average Korean player is about as retarded as the hobos on the NA servers, though at least they aren't as verbally abusive towards each other. It sure is nice to have the slowest ping in the game at 15ms though. The extra 8ms isn't worth moving up to Seoul for.

what was your ping on NA servers? 150? i'm sure you still have better ping than a lot of the people who play in the US from libraries etc

It bounced around a lot from 150-230. 150 was certainly playable, but the times that it was over 200 were pretty rough.

Actually, it depends on the library. Our library normally has 15-30 ping because at least one of the university's servers is located in the library.

But I agree, I have been having horrible issues with the NA servers. I usually am 30-45 at home, and have gotten up to 115 since Tuesday.

Won my first "The Hunt is On" yesterday. Four evolves on Zix is fun.

No one used to play Rengar because it wasn't viable in pros/diamond. It's one of those stupid trend thing, because in Bronze he can be a rape machine. At least now I can finally see this event because I play Zix so much. I didn't even notice it had started until after the four evolution popped up after killing him.

Living on the penis tip of the US, i'm getting the lowest about 80-82 ping. The highest i've ever hit was 110, and even for me that's pretty rough.

God aram sucks sometimes. Past 5 solo games i believe were losses cuz of one-sided comps roflstomping us. One consisted of taric, malph, galio, nunu and lux.

Best poke team in da world loses to even like 2 bruisers unless they massacre in the first 5 minutes. Poke gets lulzy when tower damage is comparable to champ damage, everybody's got like 3 items building or 1 complete item, and people get some levels on their abilities

I still think best teams in aram look kind of like best teams in 5v5. 2 bruisers and some combination of ranged AD and AP champs

Usually if I'm playing past 8PM or so, it's because I'm drunk (like right now(). I was never sure if there were just less fucking retards late at night on KR servers, or if I was imagining things. Then I saw this:

The little message in the blue box says if you're under 16, your account is blocked from 10:30PM until 6AM. Since you require a Korean SSN to register an account, and the first half of every KSSN is your birthday, it's pretty easy for them to enforce that. Good shit

I believe most of their big MMOs require a kssn to sign up. It's pretty awesome tbh. Shit like that needs to be enforced more in NA, not just in league in general, but in anything involving online play.

It's a legal requirement - and it lets them apply the time/day limits+ night time cut off that is also legally required.

It's for everything. You need a KSSN to sign up for any website, be it a game you want to play or you want to buy something from a store online or you want to check your bank statement online. It's just an all-encompassing online security measure. They also toss in a requirement of having a cellphone, so when you sign up on any site you get a text from them, and then have to input the code they texted you to finish the registration.

Also, as age is identifiable by KSSN, they ban <16s from playing between midnight and 8am.

It's between 10:30PM and 6:00AM, as shown in the screenshot that I posted above.
