Just had my first match as an ADC pulling 10cs/min. 22min game with 224cs on Varus. Obviously, the next step is to work on making that happen consistently, but damn.... feelsgoodman.jpg

I played LoL... hell, probably YEARS ago now, it seems, bunch of friends got me into it. Don't know how the game is doing nowadays (I'm sure it's still popular), but I remember a lot of things that pissed me off about it, mainly the horrible community. Could've sworn at one point, they disabled cross-team chat because everyone was always harassing each other over something. That, and I hated how every 2 weeks or so, they'd introduce a new character, and it'd usually be ridiculously overpowered compared to all the others, and all I wanted was to see some new maps, which took them forever to do, it seems. It got to the point where I would only play matches with/against large groups of friends, and even then, it tended to bring out some of our bad sides. In terms of updates, last time I played, Twitch's stealth duration got nerfed into the ground, and Hiemerdinger had BEEN nerfed multiple times. Kinda makes me wonder if DOTA2 is any better or not...
Oh, and Mundo goes where he damn well pleases.(He was my favorite champ, lol; is he as tanky/regen-ey/anti-status effects as he used to be?)
Cross team chat was never switched off, just disabled by default.
Champion releases are 1/month.
Mundo isn't quite as strong early as he used to be, but with the new jungle item and items overall he gets pretty good mid/late but there are better picks for the current meta ( Zac for example is like a better version of mundo really ).
as bad as the community still is, it's still much better than it used to be IMO.
I tend to just ignore the community, honestly. Outside BG and a few news sites, that is.
KR servers have been pretty fucked up since last weekend, including about 2 full days of being down. Looks like I don't have to buy Sona now:
10IP boosters, and a Sona skin. If you don't have Sona, you just get her free. I'm cool with that.
EDIT: On 2nd thought... it's a Christmas Sona skin.
That's boss status right there. Sona's my fav support, prolly one of the easiest to use and one of the best.
She's a Bard, nuff said.
The Bard thing is what attracted me to her when I first started playing. I was a BRD main in FFXI (as in my only 75 job) for like 5 years. Sona's super fun to play, and you get to be somewhat aggressive with the poke in early laning. My favorite support right now is Leona though. Thresh is tight too, but Leona just gets to be so aggressive. By the end game, she gives a total of zero fucks.
I've always wondered why they never made (maybe they have by now, haven't played in forever) a Hatsune Miku look-alike skin for her or something. I remember seeing the Arcade skin, but I mean hell, she's got the blue-green pigtails and what-not, lol. If I recall, they made Sub-Zero/Scorpion-esque skins for Shen and similar knock-offs for other champs and didn't get any flak for it.
I'll just leave this right here.
Was rather awesome of my team, everybody actually backed off to let me have it, just had to land my Q

After attempting five times to be promoted to Silver 5, I manage to qualify for my Silver 4 series in four games. This game sucks.
I did the same skirk.... it's fucking wack
To go up a tier is harder than to go up a division. Your MMR has to maintain over the average V you're trying to get into. To make sure you "deserve" it.
Holy shit. I could never even move my fingers fast enough to do that. Q, Q, Ward, W, R, all while moving the mouse perfectly. It looks like the second Q doesn't even hit, so he puts down the ward and then W's to it before he even hits Varus. (I suppose W'ing to the ward once the ward is placed isn't that hard, but still.)
I wish I could have watched all the matches already.
How many times are you going to see this failed in ranked queue in the next couple of weeks?
I never had problems qualifying for Silver 5, as I would gain 25-30 LP per win and lose 10-15 per loss. I could simply never win the best of 5 series for various reasons.
From Silver 5, 0 LP, my four games were +26, +31, +15, qualified (+26 I guess). I just think it's funny how difficult getting over the hump was compared to the results afterward.
My Korean account is only level 11, so I won't be doing ranked here for quite some time. Normal queue since all-stars is rocking close to 100% pick rate on Lee Sin, Ryze and Thresh though. Every single Ryze wants to top now too. You don't want to see how bad some of their "plays" are.
