I saw it. I loved the casters going nuts. THE HALFCOURT DUNK. FROM DOOOWWWNNNTOWWWWWNNNNN
Yeah, I was bummed that the YouTube clip was so short. Should have been like 5-10 seconds before the Ace went off to give some context, then a few extra seconds on the end for "OMSDKFBSOJDGOASJBGFOUJSBADGFBASDFOJBASF" commentary
EDIT: Just for a little Livejournal shit, Korean dudes think Leona is garbage tier as support. Meanwhile, I have yet to lose a game on KR servers as Leona, including a game where my team was outnumbered 4 vs. 3 after 7min or so. They suck Blitzcrank dick so hard because of OGN supports, but I've yet to see someone play him well against me. By that I mean they think landing a hook on a Locket + Bulwark Leona is a good idea.
Finally going back and watching the first few weeks of the LCS Summer split and man, it is no wonder C9 is doing so well. They are playing a team game while everyone else generally defaults to lane vs. lane with ganks.
If they continue to play that way they are going to improve the overall level of NA play dramatically.
Seriously. C9 is playing that Chinese meta, and really making the rest of NA look way behind the times.
I needed a new mid champ. I have my tank (Cho'Gath), traditional mage (Karthus), and AP assassin (Evelynn). I picked up an AD caster to round out my roster, and decided (mostly due to a cheaper cost) on Pantheon. Hoooooly shit is he fun, though I've only played one game as him. I'm still working out the timing on his ult, but the W>Q>E combo makes me giddy. The game I played was very sloppy, and I ended up something like 14/10.
Any tips for him? I started Q, maxed E first, and rushed a BT. I got a vamp scepter on my first back but he doesn't seem dependent on auto-attacks so I think I might rush a brutalizer first instead. He doesn't seem like a character with many technicalities, so I don't see how I can go too wrong.
Shouldn't the combo be W>E>Q for maximum damage?
With Q's short cooldown you can usually get away with Q>W>E>Q, especially if you rush a brutalizer.
Derping, nvm.
yeah qweq for maximum damage
So general theme for me lately:
I play ADC mostly. And lately I've been doing pretty well, able to roll most lanes with Vayne/Draven/Cait/Graves.
Problem is....after rolling the lane (I end up maybe 5-0 with 40CS advantage), the other team will start sending 5 man ganks bot. And this isn't just once or twice, it's almost exclusively, because, typically, our mid and top lane are not winning. So I end up sitting bot watching the 5 of them take 2-3 towers, while our mid and top effectively do nothing. They don't take towers, and they don't come help.
Even if we end up breaking even on towers in the rare case that my mid and top know to take the towers, my advantage becomes null since I'm down some CS by sitting back and not making any progress.
So...what should I be doing in those situations? Ignore bot and go push mid/top myself? Risking an even further bot push. Farm the jungle? Yell louder in chat? I'm not sure what the strategy here should be. It's just so frustrating to get up so much, just to watch my team squander it.
Your team really needs to be helping you after the first time. Unless the enemy is just using pinks/oracles and clearing out your entire bot side wards, vision will show them coming. Idk why your mid and top don't push; if 4-5 go bot, top is the easiest and safest lane to be pushing out. That's why champs like Singed and Tryn do so well, you give them alittle opening and your tower is gone.
Things like that are why I don't hesitate to take towers ASAP whenever i'm playing support and have an advantage bot. Gives you more leeway to roam and keep shit like that from happening since you won't be in the same lane and can help push the lanes that are doing shitty.
If your solos are smart enough to push on their own while you draw focus, ward up and keep pushing bot. If they aren't, rotate to their lanes and push it yourself. If you go with the latter, try to keep your team together and force a team fight which, with your superior farm, you should win.
So I started trying to Itemize for the situation at hand and not off generic guides and I somehow went from bronze V to bronze I in a day of spamming solo queue. Is the difference between bronze and silver really something so small?
