dyrus isn't anything special, all the NA tops are pretty bad in my own personal opinion it's NAs weakest lane. TSM is all around bad, if dyrus or anyone from TSM is forced off the team no other team will want them, sorry fanboys :/

I don't think that anyone is saying that Dyrus should leave for Korea. In the NA he is comparatively pretty good. TSM is good enough for the Spring split championship, and 3rd place after the regular season of the Summer split.

Sure the NA might be the CFL compared to the NFL, but saying the CFL sucks compared to the NFL is both so obvious as to not require mention and just obnoxious. Honestly, the only one being fanboyish is you.

I agree that top is the weakest position in NA, but there are still good ones and bad ones and Dyrus is a good one. I'm sure other teams (aside from C9 and Vulcun who are very attatched to their top-laners) would at least entertain the notion of picking him up if he was a free agent.

As for the rest of TSM, aside from Regi they're all solid players who I think other teams would jump at the chance to pick up. Less so for Wildturtle, but coaches/managers would be fools to not at least feel out picking up Oddone and Xspecial.

Regarding EU LCS, after hearing for so long on TL that EU was the stronger western scene, I was really underwhelmed. So much sloppy play. I didn't see any teams execute as cleanly as C9 does. I don't have much hope for LD or FNC, but I won't count Gambit out completely. They have this weird quality where they seem to play better the more pressure is on them and rise to the level of their opponents.

I think Gambit will do the best out of the three because they are pretty good front-runners. If they are able to establish some type of advantage during the laning phase, they are more likely than LD or FNC to snowball it. The biggest problem with the EU teams as a whole is the "Baron meta" that has developed in EU. You get 30 minutes into a game, and it's Baron Dance time, regardless of the actual situation on the map. So many teams have thrown games this season, including LD and FNC, because they decided to dance around Baron instead of pressing advantages around the map. Gambit doesn't do that (I think they had the 7th fewest Baron's in EU this split, and almost always go for it when they have a numbers advantage + no lanes pushed after a team fight), so I'm more confident in their ability to maintain any leads that they get, and not throw at Baron.

I would have said equal or better before the Summer split, but this split NA is definitely ahead of EU. C9 has raised the bar for NA, and most of the NA teams have responded (though they still have bad games). EU has been a complete clusterfuck this split.

I think NA is beginning to realize (largely because of C9) that there is no alternative to Korean play style when you are this far behind in terms of quality of play. You can be innovative when the difference is close and try to win, but right now it's so bad that most Korean teams could win 4v5.

The funny thing is that when I was reading this I was watching TCM v. CW, and it was 26 mins, and CW was already at Baron with easy access to two second tier turrets, and 4 members of TCM in the jungle near Baron.

My wife loves Baron, wants to go for it any time we are pushed up. I want to tell her not to be baited by the retard magnet. Luckily I have caught myself each time. LOL

Finally got my gold promo.....haven't played any of the 5 matches yet...I'm scared.

I'm not sure if I should stick with playing my best roles and best champs (Mid, Morde, ADC), or if I should just try to blend in and pick what makes the most sense (based on team comp, pick order, etc).

Obviously it shouldn't change much from what I normally do...but I'm getting all psyched out....

I'm plat V, but took 6 promo series as I hit the trollfest right there.
The game is so streaky, you can have a great 20 game streak where everyone is bacon and cookies and then 20 games where you get feeders ragers afkers and trolldouches.
