The bracket to determine the 3rd Korean team for Worlds starts in about an hour. It will take place over the next 4 days, usually starting at 6AM EST, though I think the final is at a different time. Every match will be best of 5, including tonight's 4th place tiebreaker between CJ Frost and KT B. All the streams will be on OGN. English version below with Doa and MonteCristo aka the best commentary duo in the game.

I really dislike the Garen VU. Not they-changed-it-now-it-sucks hate it, I just think it looks boring and too similar to the new Yi. Also, he apparently doesn't punch anymore.

I need to watch more of Montecristo. A lot of people say he is really dismissive of anything but the Korean scene. The interview posted a few pages back gave me the impression that he might be biased but it's hard to tell because the Koreans are really good. That comment though is kind of silly because the competition in Asia is stiff even outside of Korea. To just dismiss China and SEA is kind of silly.

Cho is obvious and already out.

Kog is next down and is probably the next to be released. I like the look, and it looks like a Zentraedi officer battle pod. I love the Robotech/Battletech reference.

I think the next on the bottom left is Anivia. Not positive, but I can't think of anything else that would fit that profile.

Skarner is obviously bottom right, and its getting a hover/spider tank look.

I don't know who is on the top right. Kind of reminds me of Yorick, but not sure.

I don't know if he would admit it or not, but I certainly feel like he has a bias towards the Korean scene, although he does seem genuinely interested to see how C9 will do against international competition. If nothing else, I suggest trying to catch him calling a few matches with pick/ban phase included to hear how he thinks about the game. It's been mentioned before, but he casts like his audience is full of hardcore players or followers of the game, so the level of detail that he goes into when breaking down the strategy behind team comps, lane rotations, etc. is unparalleled currently, at least in English. The Korean casters get a lot of shit (rightfully so) for going nuts when something big happens, but their analysis during downtime is pretty stellar.

Why did I stop buying Trinity Force top lane for so long? Because it is so yummy, especially if I get ahead early.

It got pretty heavily buffed in 3.10a right? Something like bonus movement speed on any melee hit, and even more movement speed on any kill (minion, champion, etc.) + the Spellblade passive going from 150% to 200% damage, and a price reduction. Seems like that buff with the BotRK nerf has made Trinity Force pretty popular again.

I knew about the Spellblade thing which was nice, but minor. I was surprised at how good the bonus movement speed was. I didn't know about the price reduction though.

Bork still has its uses though, and I don't see people trading Triforce for it on champs that need Bork, but I do see people that were getting Bork when they could use Trifore going back to Triforce.

Nah, that is a front profile of Skarner. It doesn't look like Urgot arm's and Urgot doesn't have top mounted missiles. It's also too squat for Urgot. Unless they are redoing Urgot too.

ah weird. he's a battlecast skin, he should be on it somewhere. the other one probably is anivia, battlecast anivia was teased last year with chogath's release.

So, listening to OPN finals right now, and Montecristo sounds like a professional broadcaster. Not just the knowledge, but actually his cadence and inflection just sounds pro.
