The first two games were so good in that series, then the 3rd game was such a letdown. About to start the GMB vs NJS match, so I'm hoping for some good matches to keep me procrastinating for a couple hours.

Why did they not target Peke with all 3 bans in the last game? If they would banned Ahri/Orianna/Kassadin it would of left what's his name with Aatrox but allowing a Kassadin is just stupid. If that champ gets rolling it is lulz

Why is Gragas a main pick for high level play? Lots of champs have ranged AP, he has a decent gap closer, and his CC works pretty much in opposition to most team CC effects.

Absolutely. Fnatic doesn't really rely on comps, they rely on individual play and catches. It just showed C9's inexperience with playing against metas from other areas of the world. I wish they could have played against a Korean team.

Call me bias, but bo3 single elim seems really shitty for this tournament. The fact that C9's entire tournament was three games is pretty silly. They had to come in cold after not competing for weeks vs a team that just spent a week dominating their group.

This happens in a lot of sports/activities that have qualifications and byes. Rest vs. Rust debate. C9 definitely needed more games. Keep in mind though that LoL as an e-sport is exploding and the format may change for next year. They are doing their best, but I do agree that bo5 is the way to go from quarters on. Especially since each team got 8 games in the qualifying pool.

I don't really know how relevant rest vs rust is in esports. Progamers only really have to deal with mental fatigue, which is much easier to recover from than, say the physical strain of 16 weeks of pro-football. Honestly, I think anything more than a 1 week break between competition is a detriment to the team.

I coach debate and when a team has a bye in the elimination debates they will often times lose to a lower seed because they didn't get the previous round as a warm up. A bye can have that kind of effect on any competitive event. Practice, mindset, etc are all factors.

He has strong clears and can roam pretty quick. Plus great sustain compared to other APs. Even though his ult can completely fuck over a team fight. If he is in the right hands, like Balls with Rumble, he can be fucking fantastic. Plus his paasive damage reduction on his W is always nice.

Plus you aren't seeing much of the main APs mid because of the caliber of players who just dominate with Ahri/Ori/etc.,

I agree that we are seeing him more because the over assassin champs are getting banned out, but I don't even understand why he is on that tier. For most good players, you have equal sustain after your first back or blue. I mean I would want Lux, Morg or even Nid in the comps most people are running now.

I also thought it was funny that you were like this other guy that lanes in a different lane with a different champ is awesome. Well, good? LOL I know what you mean but that is true of any champ. Gragas just doesn't inherently do it for me.

Morg is just meh for me. Same with Lux. Nid is fine but stronger top lane I think. I am partial to Grag because he is hands down one of my favorite mids.

And yeah it can be said for any champ, true . I just compare him to Rumble because you see his ult like Gragas fail so many fucking times in team fights.
