Aww, way to crush my dreams guys . I didn't get to play with him much thanks to trying him so late during the free week, but I may go ahead and buy him and try some more anyway.

What are your guys favorite champions to play?

Tank : Amumu, Galio, Shen
Support : Sona, Janna, Morgana
Jungle : Warwick
DPS/Assasin : Ashe, Ezreal, Akali

Oh, that's a pretty well rounded list Kao. I'm too much of a wuss to try a jungle char, since I would probably be terrible at doing it correctly.. Or at least being aggressive enough, ha.
I wasn't very good at Janna, especially when my friend would expect the bubble to completely cover him.. and it wouldn't. Sona was fun, but I only played her during her free week, and I decided that I didn't really like pure supports like that. Ashe seems to be pretty popular too, so I try to avoid her.. I'm also afraid that I would just totally whiff her arrows. (Total dork in that regard).

Also, the long, long downtime was both hilarious and sort of bleh. I managed to get in before their emergency maintenance, played two custom games, and saw only 3 people out of my friend-list manage to get on.
The speed buff on Nasus is too fun, plus the SS number change is nice too.

well xi never had 22 consecutive hours of downtime on patch day as far as i remember. and it doesn't really bother me that much, just curious as to how it can take that long

Champs I like playing in no particular order:

Mundo, Garen, Vladimir, Miss Fortune, Lux, LeBlanc, Trundle, Katarina, Cassiopeia, Caitlyn, Irelia, Jax, Nasus, Udyr, Poppy, and now Renekton!

What are your guys favorite champions to play?

Alistar. By far one of the most rewarding heroes to play. Headbutt bitches all over the place. Everytime I'm on skype with my friends I'm always yelling "NOTHING CAN HOLD ME BACK ARGHHHH". Malphite is also very fun. Hitting 5 people with your Ulti and then Ground Slamming + Randuins is like an entire team cripple right there. DPS Kayle is also very cool but hard to start off with. I did Mejais/Occult/Rageblade once and went like 21-0something. It was INSANE.

Nasus is another interesting hero. He's pretty difficult to play and it pays off quite well if you farm enough with Siphon Strike.

I think my all-time favorite though is probably Sivir. A lot of people say she's stupid easy by standing there and auto-attacking but lining up nice Boomerangs and knowing what spells you want to soak up with your shield and having the proper reaction time to do so takes quite a bit of practice. She's a great carry, farmer and a pretty game changing hero.

By the way Minardi. If you want to learn the ropes of jungling, it's actually quite easy and VERY rewarding. I can't tell you how many games I've won because the other team didn't grab a jungler. Dragon alone is worth 1k gold. Kill dragon a few times and that's a sweet 3k gold amongst you and your teammates.

My advice is look up a dude on youtube named stonewall008. He has an amazing collection of jungle videos and tips on certain junglers (mostly the "kings" of jungle). I'd also advise you to start with a safe jungler which is probably going to be Warwick and to stay away from dangerous junglers like Malphite and Olaf. I'd also advise that you should invest in some proper runes. The good thing about Warwick is you can probably jungle with mp5 runes but almost all the other junglers need a proper rune page for their jungle to be more effective.

Ezreal: By far my favorite champion. I love harassing, teleporting, and the buff on his W. (I miss the heal most of all.) Oh, and was someone across the map weak and running away--YOU HAVE SLAIN AN ENEMY.
Kennen: For when my friends and I need more CC, or just an AP damage dealer. I can't help but always shout "Unlimited...POOOOOOWWWWEEEEER!"
Morgana: Anytime I'm feeling vindictive.
Lux: Morgana with a "laser beam". What's not to love?
Shen: The one tank I'm remotely good at.
Yi: Fun, but I'm really ineffective as him.

AP: Kassadin, Annie, Veigar
AD: Xin, Miss Fortune, Mundo, Irelia
Jungle: Warwick, Xin, Fiddles

Right now I'm enjoying the Nasus buff so I've been playing him quite a bit. I hate when people assume you're going to tank when you pick him. I want to play him as a DPS!

He's kind of middle-ground. You can't tank and you can't carry. Well you can "Carry" just not through conventional methods.

I'll play literally anyone, champs I know well(which as I define as "would play in ranked or a tournament"):

Tank: Shen, Malphite, Rammus, Chogath, Garen
ADranged: Miss Fortune, Caitlyn, Ashe, Kog'Maw
ADmelee: Brolaf, Pantheon(this is my weakest category, mostly cause I think all the melees are terrible cause I don't purposefully try to extend games to 60min)
APdmg: Vladmir, Karthus(my best champ according to stats), Lux
Support: Sona, Zilean

Don't think I ever posted it, but "Celestein" is my ingame name. I only play premade 5v5 for normal games though, shits boring otherwise. Always willing to play solo queue ranked with a good partner though, or if anyone is specifically interested in joining a 5v5 ranked team lemme know(3/5 atm)

Atma's seems like a weird choice with just a Mallet. Does he have naturally high HP? I've yet to see him in matches to be honest and I've played quite a few these past two days.

He doesn't have too much HP really. He gets a HP boost from his ult, maybe it's for that, idunno.

Riv, I love Nasus so much, I used to play him a whole bunch back when I was newer... Then started trying otehr champions because some people were like "LOL, NASUS", and I wanted to try some "Stronger" guys (btw I tired a custom game with his buff, fun times!). I also tried a Jungle WW in a custom game to test ults vs ults, and without having a proper runepage (used my Nasus page) and being in the utility tree mostly, still was pretty fun. was hairy in the jungle a few times, but I assume it'd be worlds easier with a custom page for him.... My friend then proceeded to tear off my face with Tryndamere.

I also know of Stonewall! I like to watch his videos- His Xin Zhao video was actually the one that got me to play Xin a whoooooole bunch. It was a trip trying to learn and be decent with him, was hard at first!

I have been hopping around trying champions though, seeing who I like to play.. I seem to gravitate towards some strange champions, ha. Let's see.. I've played Mundo, Nasus, Xin, Swain and Nidalee a whole bunch.. Then only a few games with Urgot, but I am trying to save the points for him. I was originally going to buy Nidalee (Mostly played her towards AP/support) and purchase the french maid skin, buuuutttt after lobbing a few DEATH SEEKING Acid Hunters...

So, I guess I have Nasus, Mundo and Xin for melee, and Swain for AP, with Urgot behind em.. I probably should find a stronger AP character, but I end up going towards characters you don't see often. They also usually seem to be meaty. Oops.

Do you guys have any interesting champions for me to try? I pretty much stay away from the true tanks since I don't think I'd really do very well with them (Although I probably should, I seem to try and (nearly) sac myself to save my teammates enough).

So, randomly decided to play mundo for the first time yesterday. He's my new favorite champ... FoN, 2x Warmogs, Atmas, Spirit visage, and CDR Boots= unstoppable killing machine, lol.

Veigar ahs a similar concept to Nasus if you like farming up and then raping faces at the end-game. (He gains 1 AP for every last hit with his Q)

You could try Kayle. I love playing her but to really maximize her output you need like a legit Kayle page which consists of AP and AD runes and you start off around 70-90 AD and 40-60 AP. Maybe even more if you spec Improved Ignite.

Also if you're bored you can try "Bravery". It's awesome. I heard about it through reddit I think but basically you just yell BRAVERY to everyone at the start of the match and go Mejais and Occult into Leviathan. You can buy boots before or in between the snowball items and then after that I'm pretty sure you can buy whatever you want. I actually got it rolling once with Kayle and completely raped. You move 15% faster, take 15% less damage and cleave the hell out of things.
