tl;dr: they added a 30s+ delay on every stream because they don't want to spend money to upgrade their network for the increased workload due to consoles.

Good maybe this will actually make people compete for viewers. I agree with HSGG when all these PhantomL0rds and people who just troll on stream to get viewers. I much rather watch some one who is informative and a try hard than those guys.

Its why Trick2g is the best. He trolls while being informative.

Guess no 2-0 heh. On a more serious note, I don't like how more and more games this patch become turtling until the 50min mark and see, who makes that one mistake. Granted, Alternate should've won around 35min but generally speaking, comebacks are almost too easy currently.

Wow, CLG looked really bad. Dexter and Aphro didn't do anything to fix their problems. Also, their pick ban phase was horrible.

Meh, Link looked like shit and got counter picked (at least in the second game). I didn't think Kerp did much besides throwing damage into clumped up CLG.

What offends me is TBD were the #1 challenger team, and should have had an easy run through a piss poor velocity, but EG bought the spot and fucked em over.

Not EGs fault, riots fault.

Wooooow about 13 minutes into the 2nd game of EG vs DTG, DTG's jungler died to the red buff lizard. Just... just died. I agree with Gryffes that it's stupid for teams to bypass the process and buy spots, but man... you can't get beat up by jungle creeps if you expect to be a pro player.

So, during the last few BotA matches people kept saying how the top teams of EU/NA have catched up to Korea. I generally agree, that the ones of Alliance/TSM/C9 and especially Gambit have heavily improved since Worlds and might be up there with the Koreans, but with the exception of SKT T1 K. Today's match vs Samsung Blue shown how they are just on a different level. While Samsung managed to make an impressive comeback during the second game (SKT got a bit over their heads), the first one was by far the most awe-inspiring demonstration of new vision control turning into objectives. Haven't seen any team adapting to the pre-season changes that good. Faker still got two times MVP but unlike other teams who heavily relied on their star player (like Fnatic) during S3, every single one of them dominates their opponents now. Here's a highlights video of the match, if you don't want to watch everything:

I hope KT Bullets win their quarter to see how they hold against SKT, but IMHO they are unstoppable atm.

SKT K and KT B will be the real finals if they meet in the semis. Sucks that the 4 best teams got drawn into the same side of the bracket.

Its not really even Riot's fault, it's Velocity's dick move. Riot, I am sure, is still learning how to properly write contracts with teams. I doubt they are/can write contracts with the individual players.

Just flew through silver 3 playing AP sona support. Played 7 games including my 2 game series. Players at this level just have no concept of objectives and im hoping my support play can carry me into gold. I havent tried annie yet but I see her alot at higher rank, so probably start playing that some. Im literally not buying sight stone until around the 25min mark depending on game situation.
I understand thats not a valid strat at plat and diamond.
So far havent really ran into any supports that can out sustain/dps like sona, nor hard counter her. I think a good thresh or leona would though. Yall got any tips for this level of play? Specifically strong mid laners.
I can ziggs, katarina, and zed, but id like to learn another ad mid and another ap.

It still works in Plat 2/3. Supports are still able to stack AP/AD and carry, just depends on the comp. Plenty of games vision is compromised, which seems to work just fine as long as you can watch the lanes and makes sure the jungle is elsewhere.

So no need to switch things up if it's working

Fantastic series going on right now between KT B and CJ Blaze. Only two games in, but they've both been really close with some great plays and shot calls on both sides. Interesting Annie build orders, all the Baron drama you would expect from a KT B match, some great Thresh play... I'm so happy there are at least a couple more games to be played tonight.

Soooo what's the proper way to smurf?

Is there a most efficient way?

I created a new account under a different email and then played some co-op vs AI. Then got a few games under normal 5v5. Got the 3-day XP boost...but that doesn't seem to be helping a ton. Is there a gamemode that's ideal? Should I be duoing?

I've been finding it hard to carry as hard as I thought I would be. I've still only lost once after about 20-30 games, but I'm not rolling as hard as I thought I would. It seems like everyone I'm playing against is also a smurf....since people tend to know what they're doing.

It's also really fucking awkward playing without the right runes/masteries/summoners. Last hitting is...not fun.
