REEEEEEEEMATCH! I know this will probably be disappointing after the first match of the night, and I'm also a little bummed that we will have to wait even more for a Blaze vs T1 K match.

EDIT: I don't think the first match was longest ever, but I think Eazyhoon set the CS record with 703.

EDIT2: Yeah, the rematch went the way I expected. Blaze is the #2 team in Korea right now, in my opinion. My beloved KT B has fallen off substantially from last season, and it will be interesting to see them against IM#2 on Sunday. Meanwhile CJ Blaze and Najin Sword (arguably Shield too) have both improved a lot to leapfrog over KT B.

KT vs IM Masters match about to start. KT B made some roster changes that I approve of. Insec is back in the jungle, and Leopard got picked up to play top. Can't wait for the KT B vs IM#2 match to start.

Team Builder introduced

League of Legends is most fun when you’re playing with a good crew, who know how to fill the various roles essential for victory. Riot Games has introduced a new kind of queue designed to help enable that kind of play, even when you’re matchmaking with strangers.

Team Builder allows queue members to nominate their chosen role, champion and position before joining a team. Currently in beta, the new queue will be rolled out to regional servers beginning this week; a schedule is available on the League of Legends blog.

Team Builder will be available for unranked Summoner’s Rift matchmaking, although other queues will remain available, and Riot is looking at bringing it to other games modes. It’s not coming to ranked matches as yet; Riot acknowledges that ban and pick order mechanics are an important part of the draft process, and isn’t yet sure how Team Builder could work with that.

Riot said players shouldn’t experience dramatic changes in wait time based on their choices, but said some roles are in higher demand. Estimated wait times should become more accurate as Riot monitors the scheme’s implementation.

Everyone except the SKT players were cheering when KaKao drew SKT T1 S into group A Group C probably my favourite tho, everyone there can win a game. Opening one will be on 12th with SKT T1 K vs SKT T1 S.

Group A has me excited. SKT T1 K will win the group, but the rest should be close. KT A and SKT S are interesting teams, both playing well in Masters lately. Prime Optimus plays some wacky comps, and beat KT A in the qualifier tournament, iirc. They won't make it out, but they have the potential to make the group really close.

Finally made Gold. This after placing into Bronze IV, and promptly losing 3 games. Literally 8 of my promos had an AFK/DC, as did my next three games after that. In series for Gold IV, but I've never been so confident in my play. Teemo main, Karthus, Nasus, Ashe, Pantheon, Lux back-ups. I swear, nothing has helped my game so much as turning off all chat. I played FFXI because of the community; I largely play league in spite of it. My biggest fault is following bad teammates in over-aggression when I know better-- I KNOW not to dive that Renekton, but the jungle goes in and I go full on retard. Second biggest problem is I have a really hard time targeting the enemy I want to target in team fights, and so my positioning can get really bad sometimes when the little rat just runs right in instead of shooting, or I'll blind a damned minion instead of the champ. The first problem's getting better, but the second one is just getting more noticeable. Not sure how to fix it, since practice doesn't *seem* to be making it better. Advice?

Best part is being carried that last game XD. I got camped so hard by panth early on. Luckily my Lucian was a baus. At the end I was unkillable anyways.

After playing four games in Teambuilder, I'm already in love. It's like everyone forgot that they are usually toxic. Ironically, my first game had some flamers but it was rather tame and only once bot really started to feed. Other than that, I think the simple fact of knowing you will play exactly what you want creates such a better/lighter mood. It also takes so much amo from pre-game chat flame wars. Don't like the AP Blitz mid? Simply join another group. Even if there should be one guy willing to stay and flame the team comp, you also can join another group. Although the captain would probably kick him out before that.

All of that outweights the occasionally long waiting time by far. Can't wait for it to go live.

EU Superweek is over, and for the most part was kind of boring. There were a handful of long, close games, but they were that way because of bad positioning and some poor play. The most interesting game of the week to me was from day 3, MIL vs SHC. MIL played a creative siege comp of Olaf/Evelyn/Ziggs/Caitlin/Zilean in a very smooth, calm, calculated way. I love to see teams play a comp that is designed for something specific, and then to go out and execute well.
