I played a game earlier where we needed a carry so I chose Sivir and they then declared "He picked sivir we lose". We did lose and the whole team spent the entire game bitching at me for choosing Sivir "cause shes bad".

On another note I played like 10 or so games today as Irelia and she is actually really fun, I still have some trouble seeing as she is the first melee character I ever played but I'm learning. I went to mobafire and went through a ton of builds to try and figure out how to build her but there are just so many ways it seems, the one I had most success with was was Sheen > Hexdrinker > Tri Force, then the build says Guardians Angel but I just skip that and go Starks. It's interesting because from what I have seen/heard Hexdrinker is an absolutely terrible item but I'm really enjoying it on Irelia, it's easy to get people to over commit plus with her healing and the fact she stuns only when lower on health it can turn the tables in a close fight. It seems to be like a mini-banshees veil, trading the hard spell shield for a 1000g less price tag, offensive stats, and a weaker shield. The main problem I'm having with her is deciding boots, from what I can tell Sorc, Bers, and Merc are all good on her but I can't tell which is better, I've also seen Ninja Tabi which could also be interesting.

This week is pretty fun. I'm playing Morde/Teemo and Irelia. Three champs I will never probably buy but enjoy playing.

I've been playing Irelia and she wrecks when you get the jump on someone. Early on I'm having trouble with her but once I get bloodsurge/whatever E is, and R she's pretty easy to take down champions.

on a very side note, i've officially stopped getting mad in unranked games. i can quote honestly say i very rarely do poorly in a game(unless my web is doing retarded things, which unfortunately as of late has been happening nomatter where i go. fuck these tubes.)... but as of late i've been playing more people that can't solo a team so i'm losing more. can't rely on pubbies.



that lux score at the bottom pissed me off SO MUCH. our tank overextended while we had 3 inhibs down and got raped because he facechecked a bush on his own. why do people feel the need to do useless gambits that cost the game?

Turtling is very strong saddly. But if you're smart you'll just either force a fight at Nashor or apply pressure to all lanes and force them to split-up or in the case of a normal game, go for an easy kill while their other lanes get destroyed.

I think turtling is only useful if you can manage to capitalize on a mistake the other team may make, being overzealous. We once aced a team with baron when we had to turtle when they just acted like they were invincible. They were mucking around in our forest, ran into two members, rest of ours streamed in and we mushed them. The poor Kat was talking in chat about how they just rushed in stupid like, and how she told them not to.

As for your tank.. Man, that sucks so much. They think they can tank it all, but don't realize that they probably can't tank the focused fire of 4+ people at once :X! Or they get overconfident.

1408. it's hilariously easy to win ranked if you just convince your team to build like a team.


had a game earlier as ww and i'm playing with my irl friend who really isnt very good... he got mad he died in his lane(he was heimerdinger with teleport and clarity.. no ghost or flash = dead heimer) cause he overextended and got stunlocked. i ganked top lane and got morde first blood, then when i hit 6 i got a double kill at bot(friend saying i did a horrible job ganking, right after he said that i took the tower..)

....then the team started feeding. i hit /surrender @30 mins then team voted no. after that i told them fine i'll go solo baron and we'll give it another try. at this point we had no external towers left and we hadn't gotten ANY of their towers. thankfully when i respawned i had enough gold for wriggle's lantern to go with my merc treads, bloodrazor, and banshees veil.

I got the baron. 70 minutes into the game and a legendary bandole later:



i have a new strategy for games with comps i fucking hate, pick evelyn and just have fun. i'm getting sick of doing queue that isnt premade where everyone instapicks squishy mcsquishy freechamp of the week and locking in the second the rotation begins. don't they realize that squishies rarely do well without a team full of heavy cc? i'm really just kind of happy that even though my recent matches has only 4 wins due to faggot pubbies all of my scores are respectable. i could give a shit about winning or losing.

Don't bother. Shen usually gets banned. Shen/Zil/Rammus are pretty much auto-bans in mid-high ELO.

nah, if i wanna tank in ranked i generally jungle mumu or offtank as morde. i'm getting him for unranked if i do get him. i'm considering gragas since scuba is half off.

i also rarely see shen banned in this current ELO, so i may as well ride that gravy train. the typical bans i see: rammus,malphite,sion,shen,irelia

A good Shen is simply damn amazing. I think it's that Global Ult that just really helps out.. Since you can be doing whatever, then warp in if needed/save someone /prevent a gank/turn something around... But ah. I guess it depends on how much you swing the map around and watch people's hp bars and situations. He looks fun to play, though. Isn't Gragas on sale too atm?

Hehehe, funny that Iri's getting banned now.. I've heard people talking about how Urgot will/should be nerfed, and it makes me go... Wat. Your WW game sounds like it was a lark! "Wat.. I just.. Jerk".

Totally bought that Northern Swain, now to actually play a game and use it!

Huh? I've you're gonna get him for non-ranked enjoy steamrolling teams. Shen is too fucking strong, esp in a normal game where you'll farm even more and get twice as many kills.

Urgot is great mid. I'd normally say he's rather trashy end-game but after watching Bigfatjiji play him a few times, he's pretty beast in the right hands.

Irelia has always been OP but it took a while for it to take off. I know one of the top EU players plays Irelia like crazy. I've also lost all my tournaments to an Irelia (1v1 she's god-mode)

Aaaah. Yeah, I guess sooo. The Equilibrium strike would help out things a ton, then true damage and a heal/true dmg.

I should plau Urgot some more, but I never got a ton of practice with him.. Although once, a Taric and I starved an Akali and Kat lane SO bad, they had like 3 and 1 CS near the end of laning(they hugged the tower)........
They then got to come back and the other team won cause people were playing stupid.
