I'm digging Jarvan. He's pretty fun. I love doing epic maneuvers with his Lance + Flag combo

What builds have you been trying on him?

Been doing as stated before:
Cloth + 5 HP pots --> Wriggle --> Merc Trend --> Sunfire (physical) / Frozen (magic) --> Banshee Veil --> Atma's Impailer

Also tried:
Boots of Speed + 3 HP pots --> Merc/Berserker --> Frozen Mallet --> Sunfire Cape --> Thornmail/Force of Nature/Randuins --> Atma's

Not completely satisfied with either right now. Tried some straight DPS with Brutalizer/Last Whisper but didn't like it, made him too squishy for the damage he did.

i finally played swain today.. ended up being 16/6/12 and 700 ap with 30% spell vamp.

Unkillable status is go.

Swain makes me angry. I don't like the idea that a champion can conceivably become invincible to an entire team focusing them. Ulti should cost more mana depending on how much you're healing or something.

Mana Regen + Book + Rod of Ages and you're invincible.

The ult already gets progressively more expensive quickly, and Ignite can totally mess him over.. I guess Executioner's calling can do so, too. Then again, when you meet a Swain like that it's someone who's really good with him.

Ignite still sucks. I remember one game as Swain and the other Swain+ someone else both had Ignite.. Guess who got chain ignited every time? Hahahaha.



Smart bastards. I should practice and play him some more again, been playing some Mally+Gragas recently! (What exactly do you guys expect out of Gragas? Tanky, Tanky AP pretty much?)

I start with Cloth +5 HP Pots. -> Boots + 2 Hearts of Gold -> Merc Treads -> Bloodthirster/Trinity (I like Thirster much much more) -> Banshees/FoN -> Guardians Angel/LW as your final items.

Always take the solo lane top and try to hold onto your HoG's as long as possible.

It's pretty much either Tanky or AP. There is no Tanky AP, at least it's not as viable as your other two choices. I personally think he's AMAZING AP (Full Ratios on his Ult and 0.7-0.8 on his barrel?) He's very very difficult to play though, if you fuck up on your aiming you're virtually useless in fights.

Tank Gragas is lack-luster, he doesn't disrupt as amazing as other off-tanks like Blitz/Singed/Alistar/etc. IMO Gragas should be played AP in Ranked. If you're playing for fun though, Gragas completely stomps normal games. Grab your solo lane always. Gragas has insane staying power and killing power. (90 damage level 1 if you grab your drink move which is nuts) Body slam makes you impossible to gank.

A Sololane, eh? I liked grabbing the Glacial Shroud first for the mana+armor and cdr, then going AP (For my last build trys).. But I guess I should just skip that step! But then, what first to grab? Mana Crystal, make a Cata first? Ring?
Hmm... I guess I'd have to rely on cask to help nab last hits in a sololane 2v2 situation, and not spam abilities too much to get the full health regen out of Happy hour. I usually grab Cask -> Drunken Rage -> Body Slam, skilling up slam last, or keeping it even with Cask (Maxing rage after cask, but sometimes I keep it even with cask until about rank 3(

Grabbing rage first though.. That seems like a bit of a pain at first, least until you can hit level 2 or something... I've yet to try and play him in a normal match.

Let's see. I know the AP Gragas player from MyR is sick. He's very good. He usually goes like 2-3 Dorans/Sorc Boots, but I prefer a more standard caster approach. (Cata into Rabas grabbing basic boots)

Grab a Mana Pot + 2 HP or Dorans Ring. Rush Cata -> Boots Level 1 -> Rabadons -> Void Staff -> Banshees and from there whatever floats your boat.
You got a perfect skill build there. Max Cask ASAP and Grab some extra points in Drunken. Seems like you got everything down for Graggy. I usually would recommend 9/0/21 or 0/9/21 if you want some more staying power. I also love running AP runes if you have them since he gains insane ratios on his spells.

No one knows how to play with Jarvan, think they would know that when you trap 3 of the enemy team you're supposed to, I don't know, capitlize on the fact they can't run for 3seconds and stuck in a small area for AoE potential.

Ya, same as all the other champions who finish a cast or channel, you can do it with Fiddlesticks/Kennens ult as well, etc.

<3 doing it with Kennen's Ulti. Great initiation to run in, Ulti, get off maybe one W to hit everyone and maybe stun one person, then hourglass as they start to focus you. Half second of the enemy having to retarget someone else (or just stand there doing nothing) is very helpful. Used to do it with Morgana all the time, too.

i don't know what you're talking about, singed/blitz can carry no problem.

any nidalee skin other than xmas/french maid is a nono :[

The Pharaoh skin is actually pretty cool IMO, but yea, french maid is much better.
